Two magma pipes!

My map has two lava pipes - one a seamingly shallow lava pool and full blown lava pipe - is this natural?

You got lucky. Though i'm not sure a pool is much use, at least these days of regeneration.

Pool doesn't regenerate... because it doesnt run off map.
