The whole town is more or less in a state of panic. Just as the storm seems to be moving in slow motion, everything inside it seems to be running far, far faster than normal, growing and giving birth and dying over and over again, so rapid you can hardly catch glimpses of it. All except for one man, who is seemingly resistant to the effect.
