If you're a true anti-mage, you can't use normal magic, because the only way to gain access to it is to permanently cut yourself off completely from the flow of magic, a dangerous endeavor for a mamono. Once you're cut off, returning to the flow would surely mean death.

"If you're going to keep drinking all of the alcohol in this place I'm going to start taking the cost of them out of your rent. Whisky doesn't grow on trees."

"Relax, lady, you're taking our souls as your currency, right?"

"No. _{I wish it was that easy.} Unless you specifically offer me your soul I can't use it as currency. Being around you just makes it more likely that it'll end up in my hands when you die, that's all. I've got plenty of other things to use as currency anyways. The dollar kind and others."
