Nick hand is swatted away by a wing growing from her back. The crying stops as Melinda raises as Skyflame, the tears evaporating on her skin, as she lights a cigar and draws from it.

"Hah, poor girl just cut ain't cut out for this world. Hilarious."

Nick stands up.
"I tend to disagree."

"Day and night she goes bawling her little eyes out, saying she ain't no monster, and drinks and drinks, because if she doesn't, she remembers that actually, she really enjoyed all the burning. All these people..It's a joke. I guess you just don't get it."

Skyflame showed a toothy grin, smoke bellowing from the edges of her mouth.

Salaphacia leans on the door of the kitchen, glancing inside; she idly taps her one black, clawed finger on the wall.
"Being a monster isn't all that bad."

"Great, you get some beer, snacks and cards, I'll get some more players."

Fusa-fusa Musume claps her hands together, and as she moves them apart, a snow leopard patterned fur materializes between them.
"Any pattern you'd like?"

"Poker night, get your cash over to the table."

"Could I have something stripy?" she looked over towards the door "Oh, I'll be there in a bit."

Pink flames dance along the surface of the fur, as it changes color, a white tiger pattern.
"There's tiger..."
Then the flames dance again, and it turns into a zebra pattern.
"And fluffy z~ebra."
