"Since it's almost useless then that's even better. It's going to run out on the next use anyways right?"

"I fail to see how this is important. It's useless, has limited uses, an apparent output cap, and makes them go insane on use."

[Sanure]

"No, that is the exact opposite of what we want. Far from it, we wish for them to never get their hands on Amberite. Ever."

Hyoma replies to Vira, "I believe the Layar would be able to refine it. Their tech level give them the best chance at it.

((I would laugh at what happens, Elf ))

Sepia speaks over the loud speaker attached to the shuttle, "Sokka want's to know how it forms."

Sen replies, "It forms as any other gem would. Years of pressure coalescing from the planet's source of mana. Of course, you could also use your own mana to grow it, but this usually ends up being very draining on the user, and may end up putting them into a coma for months."

Sen replies to Nick, "You're not getting my last sample unless you can go get me another crystal that hasn't been used. So good luck finding one that isn't in a protected zone."

[Akroma]

"Yes yes whatever, but what *are* you showing us this for?"

[Sanure]

"Because it has a secondary use." Sen begins to pump her mana into the crystal. The crystal, which was a dull orange in color, begins to start glowing a faint blue. Sen speaks somewhat drained, "Go ahead and try to draw mana from it..." She has trouble keeping the crystal steady.

[Akroma]

"What? How do I even draw mana from a thing? Dude I grow wings and horns and burn people, not much mana draining involved here."

A bright light emits from Aisly, before she grows half a foot and turns into Adrastia.
"The Red Fleet could potentially gather said Amberite to finish the invasion that the proper Layar government couldn't do. Or worse, they could harness it to coup their government and then use the entire military-ready population of their planet to attack us rather than just their own fleet."

[Sanure]

"It's a simple thing to do. You just have to will it."

[Poltifar]

Victoria stands up slowly and reaches for the gem, concentrating on it. "Like... this?"

Melinda concentrates on the crystal

"Go do stuff!"

The blue light fades from the Amberite and flows into Victoria and Melinda, making them feel energetic and lively and slightly overcharged, "How do you both feel?"
