In 2010 a group of heroes foiled the attempted conquest of Earth by an invading race of lizard like humanoids known as the Layar. Thanks to the efforts of the Northsdale Five, lead by a young girl named Maria Ryan, the Layar were forced to retreat. Two years later a diplomatic escort from Layar arrived on Earth to open a peace treaty with our Planet, in exchange for some of our resources, we were provided with the means to explore space. It is now 2016, and the human race has colonized Mars, Europa, and Titan, providing more space for the Human race to grow and expand.

Peace however, cannot last...

[The Night before]

All across the world people are beginning to wind down from a long day. Layar ships had been spotted entering Orbit with Earth. Trade negotiations were in the works for a joint project between Earth and Layar, or so the news said. This would be the next step for true peace between the two planets.

The news cuts off, leaving a few hours before Midnight commercials come on.

John sits inside a colony on Europa, reading news about the colonization potential of Venus.

Somewhere in eastern ukraine a certain paramilitary group that does not officialy exist is supplying the ukrainian side of the war with weapons, training, and the occasional military intervention. A girl so young she definetly is out of place here is sharpening and oiling a jagged bayonet that does look anything but standard issue.

Lilly was slumped down on her couch wearing a striped pair of pyjamas, she scratched herself absent-mindedly as she surfed through the channels. She didn't stop on any one for two long, just quickly flicking through them trying to find something that seemed even remotely interesting.
