Lewis Machine gun (rifle caliber machine gun) 1 point, domestic

10 points remaining

Suggested designs within cost and votes
NOTE: I marked everything down with the max price possible, and votes for imports as such. Things listed with the import price cannot be afforded as domestic, but votes made for them being domestic have been marked as such.
NOTE: I have not marked down engines, as I assume that we dont need them. At the least, UR has not said we do.

(Why do I keep thinking 1930s? Gaah. Anyways, a smg of a sorts (and this counts) is really all we need to get for ourselves, we can steal rifles and sidearms from the army and we have the lewis for when troops are landed, we really jsut need something for use between the troops landing and them getting their larger weapons, and guns developed for that role dident exist yet. Heck, the VDV dident even show up until 1930.)

Buying engines is useful because not only you may get a stockpile of engines, you may get guys who know how to design engines.

Players can be creative and look way beyond aircrafs. I can accept torpedoes. I can accept rockets. I can accept small arms for arming Air Force personel. If I see a way to relate it to aviation I will fit in the world.

 Ooh, anyone else thinking paratroopers?

Also, I will go and edit the list of stuff with some proposed thing for smallarms, aswell as the engine suggestions.

-edit-

So, Im thinking we get one of the more interesting C.96 variants, or rather a variant of a knockoff of a variant. Namely, the "Royal" MM34 machine pistol (bottom one). Like I also said up there, we can steal rifles and normal sidearms from the army, and we can use the lewis aswell. The main issue is what to use between landing (with pistols, grenades, and this) and grabbing longarms from their chutes. Plus, we can always give it to aircraft crews incase they go and crash, along with handing it to base security.

The main reason why its the knockoff variant of a knockoff of a variant is because the Spanish started making machine pistol variants of the C.96 a whole five years before Mauser itself did...

Well, the TB-3 has to be removed (Strangely, I don't get away with buying a plane that underwent first flight in december 1930).

I'll vote for  the Vickers Vimy and the AEG G.IVg .

I'll add my vote to the Vickers Vimy as well, and the FF.33 (domestic) and the QF 13-pounder 9 cwt.

Rolls are... interesting.

Po-1 (Gabardine Monoplane)
First aircraft of our nation. Invented by Polikarpov. He is a genius inventor of our nation and owner of his own private company. Production lines used to build this aircraft still exist(72) but they mostly used to produce spare parts for existing planes (52). Supreme Leader and revolutionary generals believe that this aircraft is too outdated and use inferior monoplane scheme(20). Unlike Po-2, Po-1 was license-produced by many factories and both sides of the war have ability to produce and maintain them. (45)

Po-2 Po-2 is a brand new aircraft that entered production less then half year ago. It's production is still modest(37) but it is relatively popular agriculture and passenger biplane (47). High command is   sceptical about using a civilian craft for anything but auxiliary roles  because they prefer purpose built bombers (25). Fortunately, Polikarpov's factory is in our hands and its owner is persuaded to cooperate with Revolution (100). While capitalist still control most Po-2 using airlines(8 ) we doubt that they will manage to maintain it without a steady flow of spare parts.

RB-1 (AEG G.IVg) RB-1. It name means royal bomber but one shouldn't dare to use anything but revolutionary bomber nowadays. It is the most mass-produced aircraft of our country(82) and while most was produced for export, we had little more than one hundred of those bombers before the war (41). Generals can't say anything special about this workhorse bomber (53).  Both sides got a fair share of production liners (57) but we got majority of bombers on our side (80)

RB-2 (Vickers Vimy)  Under our pre-war doctrine, this aircraft had to play a role of medium bomber. Unfortunately, in the first few days of our Revolutionary war the factory complex producing RB-2 was destroyed (4) together with hangars that stored majority of them(17). It is a great loss for our generals(98). Fortunately most of specialist are in our hands (86) and we have several intact bombers to rebuild our bombing force from(26)

RB-3 (Zeppelin Q class) When engineers were ordered to create a heavy bomber they decided that using an airship is a better choice. The old government never invested much in its production (15) but a dozen of RB-3s exist(37). High command are rather sceptical about future of slow airships in the world of aircrafts(36). We got only two RB-3s (24)

Friedrichshafen FF.33 Our neighbours are not good in naming their aircrafts, aren't they? Our industry adapted to FF.33 and can build whatever spare parts or even copy it(76) but few actually remain in service (19) and no one see great need to produce it (38) even if factory responsible for servicing of FF.33 wasn't in hands of our enemy (16).

Mosin 7.62mm machinegun  (Lewis machinegun) Mosin factory is known for its rifle but it produces enough machineguns (89) to supply both army, air force and navy. We have full stockpiles (66), the gun is respected (54) and we have more of them than our enemy(67 , 79)

Mosin 20mm cannon (Becker Type M2 20mm cannon)
20mm cannon is an interesting design. Mosin factory is ready to produce it (46) but our stocks are low, with most of produced cannons being owned by our opponents (14). Our generals think that it is a very perspective weapon and they expect to see a fighter armed with it(85) because we control Mosin factory (94)

3 inch AA gun (QF 13-pounder 9 cwt )  Our artillery industry is very weak and this gun is not an exception (16). While not very numerous, 3 inchers  protected all important infrastructure (32) and they are considered important by our generals (79). Unfortunately Obukhov state plant is controlled by capitalists and we have no ability to produce guns, spare parts or ammunition (1)

You are now officially the commissar of armaments. One of three. Do you have any questions before going to your office?

Update time!

Now questions. If you noticied, I prefer to generate stuff during the game and now it is your chance to get information about the world. You can ask anything want to know about the world. I will either take info from my notes or roll for answers and modify the gameworld. This game is intentionally "freeformish" because complex systems killed all my attempts to run a suggestion game.

You have 10 questions. 3 Votes for a question and it becomes official

Who are our neighbors?

What kind of state are their militaries in?

Do they show any indication of favoring one side of the civil war over the other?

If our neighbors are supportive of the capitalist government, they might send material aid or try to reinstall them forcefully later, it would probably be to our advantage to know what to expect from each one ahead of time.

+1 to all... and in addition.

What is our generals' preferred military doctrine?
