Saki doesn't have a miasma rebreather. Algaria does.

Also it'd be odd for a explosive collar to have any buttons or whatever to set it off... because doing it by hand will probably cost you those fingers. As it, you know. Explodes.

Now I'm very confused. Is the doctor not the one with the collar?

Edit: it says that Asuka Saki has the collar. At least that's what the character thing in the OP of the IC says.

John is willing to lose some fingers to save his life. And someone called it a rebreather earlier, so I thought it was that. Either way, he removes it or activates it with his power. Whichever he thinks will set it off. That's a GM call. My character knows how, but I don't.

Sure, but it's probably designed to be hard to fiddle with. Don't want it being disarmed, after all... or going off if it catches on clothing.
But we'll see, I suppose, depending on what the DM says.
 
The doctor Saki, Dwarmin's character, has an explosive collar.
Algaria, my character,  has a miasma rebreather. Different tech.

On her inventory sheet it's listed as a miasma collar.

Either way, It can be activated by removing or breaking it. That's why she convinced the guards not to take it off.

And as an added bonus John can use his power to interface with it regardless.

That's fine. I made the best use of a bad hand. We'll see how it plays out. If nothing else, it should be interesting.

@ KJ: I'm posting this here to avoid cluttering the IC. Her character description described it like it was inert and would be dangerous if activated. If it is running and turning it off would do what I'm going for, John would deactivate it. Only Vacio and John know what this thing is really. I think his intent is clear in the action post.

Could you edit your action in the IC to match what you stated in OCC as they are different and I want to make sure that , because activating the collar would cause it explode. Also Knight is the one with the re breather, I'll hold off the next post till you do so. Also could not help but be confused why did you want to use up your one use taser on Saki? You can still do it, I'm just curious.

Saki said she was the smartest, which offended John. So he tasered her and is going to attempt to make the collar explode. I edited it.

John is on the edge of a mental break at this point. I was going to play him as a good (relatively speaking) character, but he can't really handle the stress at the point. So murder. That's basically how it goes.

Uh, sure. You know you're still chained to a seat, right? Unless the GM pulls some voodoo and gives you 10ft reach it's pretty much impossible for you to actually harm me, now that you've lost the element of surprise. We can solve this by jabbing you with the needle, tho!

Not happening, only the other John is free.

Oh, and here's something great. I'm just now reading your techno absorbing powers and it seems you could even help REMOVE the explosive collar (my character has mentioned this) she's currently wearing. You didn't think to pawn that off for the keys to your chain? Not to mention it? That would be a GREAT trade!
I never posted that he knows how to remove the collar, he has yet to actually see it up close to study.

I was just saying it would have been nice to offer rather than trying to ineffectually jab me with a taser...can you move the scene on, Vacio? It's pretty clear everyone wants to be released and we're not going to release them until we can escape.

I'll be posting soon, to be honest a lot of the character actions are not helping their case on getting off the bus anytime soon.

edit 1: Actually I need a post from spiderking50 to see if he's going to attempt anything, because you will be in reach grabbing the body.
