Posted this in the other thread, but I still think it's pretty funny.

I've recently found out a town named Silverthieves founded by The Molten Fiend of Lambs of the Eerie Terrors. I don't think I'll ever go near that town, especially if I have any silver on me.

Slightly on topic, here's a name worthy of DF: Hill in New Zealand.

I guess Mosus never liked plump helmets, too bad they were only food we got back then.

My favorite so far would be my fortress called "violencelabored" I though it was the most suiting name for any dwarven fortress, especially mine which usually start with constant labor and end in violence from the goblins I forget to build an army for.

Odd how "Experiment" in DF is often synonymous with "Raging inferno of death and dispair"

Drivespray the Mechanical Sewers, a copper throne. I've mentioned it before.

Also notable is a god named something Breachquest, associated with strength, depravity and lust. I think we know exactly what is it he does.

Also, this one:

quote:
I made an hammerdwarf recently, in order to continue the rampage I had been conducting on a human town, taking advantage of it being the only one on my tiny new 17x17 map. He died, and I'm not even sure he got a title.

Then a I made another dwarf, this time an axedwarf.

His last name was randomly generated, and it was so awesome and fitting I decided to use it. It was Axepartner. Ålath Axepartner.

Then I kill a bunch of humans and get a title. My dwarf is currently named "Alåth Libashthimshur Zakgolsárek". That's right, he's named "Ålath Axepartner the Spiteful Echoes".

Plain awesome, albeit not really funny.

I found out that the hammerdwarf did indeed get a title, the Wilt of Paint. Also, I confused genders, because Ålath was actually female. Well, it doesn't really matter since dwarves don't have gender roles. We could just as well refer to a dwarf as an it.

I've also had a few awesome squad names, such as the Tin Soldiers, and the Mechanisms of Defense.

Indeed they did :3

Also, on a slightly unrelated tangent, I have this habit of making female human halberd-wielding adventurers named Ramacslek for some reason. I've probably made two dozen of them already, and only one is still alive. Most of the others died after killing a bunch of people in the town they started out in, with a few exceptions.

I'm not sure where I found this in adventure mode, but it seems a little odd.

"Bald hammerer of the hairy hills."
Seems like a balding hammerer wanted to strike down those who make him feel inadequate.
