Also, I think I posted this in another but in my old fortress' dining room, there was an engraving of tentacle demons called "The nasty breach". I'm not sure, but I think iv'e just witnessed the beginning of anime.

I once had an intresting engraver named Mosus Dakonmonom, nothing funny in his name but most of his engravings had funny or cool names.

I don't know what stranglers are, but they do sound sick.
   

I guess Mosus never liked plump helmets, too bad they were only food we got back then.

Figured I'd bring up this thread because I just had to get this one out of me.

I recently had a goblin siege that I was completely unprepared for. I draft everyone into squads and get people inside that shouldn't be fighting. Then I take a group of new recruits and some cannonfod- err peasants to keep the goblins form messing stuff up before my soldiers (who were near the magma at the time) arrive. It was just as I had unpaused that I realize the name of the group I was sending to die...

Let's just say they proved true to their name.
