The campaign is a bit weird, I played the first 'real' game and there were no injuries. I think they're slowly introducing each new game mechanic or something silly like that, and I hate it. I'm also playing on the TV and the text is really small, I have to sit close to see, is there a fix for that?

It really isn't that uncommon to do an entire game without a single injury. Unless you were playing with papermen against Orks or something.

This has been a problem with playing PC video games through your TV since forever. I remember trying to play Everquest on my tv back in the 2000s, and the text was unreadable there.

Maybe try running the game in Steam's Big Picture mode.

I really dislike the idea of my content being dependent upon how much other people spend on the game. It's not exactly a selling point.

Every time you say this I think, "But don't Orcs, Humans, and Chaos make up 80% of teams anyways?"
Which is why they don't need the encouragement. :(

Yah, it sounds like minecraft with content, you have obviously missed the point, people dont like content, they like different coloured blocks.
Seems to work fine with my copy. As soon as I loaded the human caravan came by and the world burst into fire.

Exactly. If I've got races I like in the base game, then why would I pay extra to goof around with a new team I'm not likely to stick with? This is why I've played with Slann on FUMBBL and Vampires in LE, but not Khorne; I don't have CE, and I have no intention of buying it just to have some chuckles with a silly race, even if it was separate DLC for 3 bucks.

I never heard someone argue that Team-DLC makes for less variety in what you play against. On one hand, I can see where it's coming from. On the other hand, I distinctly remember that the LE and CE BB1 Editions hadnt that much variety either, even tough everyone had access to all races. Most leagues I played, Orcs, Dwarves and especially Chaos were allways dominant. So I dont really think this is a major factor. People will play what they want regardless of DLC.

Also, like they said in their Reddit-Askmething, Making new Teams is expensive. Unique animations, models etc. pp. I kinda get that they want some compensation for their work.

Dwarves are newb friendly, Orcs are also pretty good for ease of use, and Chaos.. Chaos had the claw combo which made everyone squishy.

Oh I'm aware of that. I just mentioend it because I feel that the difference wont be that massive if we see a Team per DLC model.

Truth be told, Dwarf/Chaos Spam was one of the reasons I so rarely played Online. Dwarves are incredibly boring to play against, in my opinion. And with Chaos I allways felt they get way too much killing power way too fast. Also, Chaos Coaches had a habit of trying to completely annihilate your team and then win with a 1:0 lead even when it was obvious that they would win, to the point were I had matches where I wouldnt even let my Players stand up after they were downed once. But that's inherent to the game, and BB2 will probably not improve my experience much in that regard.

PTW, also, could we start a league?

I'm gonna be honest, the Khorne Daemons were one of the most fun bashy teams that I've had the pleasure of playing. There's something intrinsically satisfying about pushing someone all of the way from midfield off the edge, or hitting someone 10 times on the same turn until they finally go down. :P

I'll probably get this eventually when it's on a nice steep sale. I already have both LE and Chaos edition of BB1 and only play occasionally. I doubt snazzier graphics will have me play too much more.

I am one of those rare Chaos coaches who goes for bizarre mutation teams over death teams. My favorite was my anti-agile team made up of swarms of tentacled and tailed beastmen. Not the best against other bashy teams, but it was just so damn satisfying to see elves get stuck again and again trying to get past us.

So there's a shop now where you can buy skins for your teams in game with their cyan currency. Does anyone know if you can earn this currency in game or is buying it your only option?

You earn them ingame. I have 300 lying around.

The Patch is 1.6 GB tough, so I cant check if that's a lot or not.

I'm going to wait until all races are pirated before buying the game. I can't play BB without a halfway full team list, and I don't pay for DLCs under any circumstances.

I'm absolutely loving the footage I've seen, although I would argue that the slo-mo hits get repetitive. I'd like an option to only show them when an Injury/Stun/KO happens, or maybe just an Injury/KO.
