Course, our shop of sorts'll be only open for a couple of hours, so do try not to overspend, hm?"

"Duly noted. I'll try to spread the word." If they don't have anything else to say, Valery goes under the cafeteria's camera, and then looks over her map, looking for the blind spots.

The Shop has been unlocked. Nick and Jack will set up shop somewhere in the school every day during the first half of the Day phase, from where one can buy items, supplies and food for metal.
The Map has been updated.
Scavenging and Salvage have been unlocked. Scavenging an area will give a random number of metal, but can only be done once a day, while Salvaging something will require tools and provides a fixed amount of metal depending on the object.

Valery goes to her dorm room if she isn't stopped. Others nearby could probably hear her playing video games.

Sato enters his room, and locks his door behind him.  He sits down on his bed...

According to the timetables you were all given on the boat, Orientation is in thirty minutes, whereupon you will be meeting the teachers.

...and takes out the timetable he received before arriving.  Maybe I can figure out some kind of clue from this. Sato reads the timetable.

(Also, I forgot to ask earlier, but was Sato allowed to bring any survival-related supplies with him to the academy?  Like any of the supplies found in this survival kit?)

The timetable talks about various subjects which Sato will never have. It doesn't look too relevant.
