((Ozarck, you might have forgotten most of your speech colors.))

To Newton: "Oh, don't you worry."

Calming and friendly words to the woman, maybe she warms up for me: "Worry not, we don't like trouble either. All troubles we have at moment is lack of fuel for my truck. By the way, I'm Doctor Physics Professor, nice to meet you! My parents though it would be funny name, but I turned it into reality."
((I just didn't feel like it, ya know? Also, did I mention that your character's parent suck?))

ATTACK! I MEAN, ATTACK STEALTHILY!

And I was waiting for you to post because I didn't fully understand that last sentence... Attack what? Where are we? What is life?

I and a couple friends of mine are passing through, from out east. The lady at the diner suggested we stop in and see you. Thought I'd be sociable and say hi. We won't be long in your town. Wondered if you might direct us a little, though. We're trying to find some friends of ours, then head off planet.

We saw some troubling activity up north across the water there, on that island. No one's said what it might be, though. You know of any pollution or infestations hereabouts? Looked pretty ugly. That normal for these parts?

"We took a round about way to get there, through the atmosphere actually. Wasn't fully our decision since the ship we were on was shot down. Heard that few of our allies were locked up somewhere here and figured we might get them out somehow while we are around. Dunno exactly where they are, but that's half of the adventure!
Ah, my truck doesn't use hydrogen fuel cells, it uses rocket fuel! My very own prototype hover truck! Built it all by myself! I don't suppose you have liquid oxygen and hydrogen around for sale? I don't have money to pay it for, but I can build and fix many things for you. Many things. All kinds of things."
The professor fixes his bowtie and winks as he speaks.

More very friendly talking!

Look around for food.  Perform plant gathering.  If I find any unknown vegetables or fruits, amplify my sense of taste to 1000% and lick the item to determine if it's safe to eat.  Bring any edible items back to the truck.

Jon Goldbloom Action:
Chat with locals.  Ask them what hobbies they enjoy around here.

This planet's sun is beginning to set here.

Okay then... You are both in the city of New Manila, with 5 of the rebels who will assist you in infiltrating the Military Citadel. We'll assume you took a transport to the area right outside of the base. The base itself occupies a fairly large area, several football fields in size. All but one side are surrounded by ~10 foot high walls made of metal that rapidly switches between colors depending on the viewing angle. You see men walking the walls. There is a large gateway that leads into the compound, it is guarded by around 10 men, well fortified behind half walls, bearing heavy weaponry.

Patrols regularly enter and exit the base, patrolling the nearby city blocks, sometimes heading into various bars and cafe's for recreation.

The northern side of the base however does not have a wall defending it. It leads to a seaport that services and bases various military vessels. You see small patrol boats floating around the harbor, and a larger vessel of in the distance.

The city blocks near the citadel contain many small shops and hotels. One of the rebels with you suggests finding one to hole up in. To use as a safehouse.

"Why they did this to me?"
Electricity around me.

You see flashes of light through the bag over your head as you shoot bolts of electricity around the room. From what you can tell, no one else is in the room, as there is no response to your actions. You did manage to burn your restraint's of though. Lightly burning your wrists as well.
______________________________________________________________________________________________

Night has fallen here.

Keep on guarding, shoot anyone who tries to steal our stuff.

You keep watch as the sun finally sets, your eyes begin to flutter as you struggle to stay awake. A heavy rasp of something repeatedly hitting a tree awakens you, you turn on a small light and investigate. A canine, sleek and black slinks out from the darkness, it's body is covered in a thick insect like carapace, and it's eyes are black, empty pits. It seems much more muscular and agile than the creatures that you saw earlier. It lunges at you.

You wander off as the sun begins to set, keeping a small light with you. Nearer to your camp it seems that all the native flora have been supplanted with earth variants. Though the further you go out you the more alien the landscape becomes. You find:

-A luminescent green mushroom that tastes like strongly garlic, and smells like fish.
-A bright pink flower, who's bulbs immediately made you wretch and sneeze upon licking.
-A flower who's leaves are black, it smells terrible, but tastes of apples. It seems edible.
-36 leeks.
-A variety of other edibles.

Jon chats it up with the locals. One notes that he likes to catalog the plants and animals native to this planet. Another says she looks for ruins of an ancient civilization, she speaks of an old city she found, bombarded from orbit long ago.

"We took a round about way to get there, through the atmosphere actually. Wasn't fully our decision since the ship we were on was shot down. Heard that few of our allies were locked up somewhere here and figured we might get them out somehow while we are around. Dunno exactly where they are, but that's half of the adventure!

"Huh, that sounds complicated... The cells are liquid hydrogen as far as I know, the oxygen might be a bit more tricky. We don't have much use for it around here. You might want to go see John, he does a lot of the repair work around here, just up the road, outside of town. You can't miss the place, it's lined with solar panels and the crazy old man is probably still working.

Hard work is always welcome here, John might have some repair work for you."

The man sizes you up for a moment and extends his hand for a handshake. "If Lauren didn't have issue with you then you must be alright. I'm Wilhelm, the people of Fairport have chosen me as some sort of leader. I can help guide you to where you wish to go, but first your going to have to tell me about this problem you mentioned. I'm not sure what you are talking about, so let's get to it... what exactly did you see?"

Well, it looked like a bunch of creatures, all black and scaly, maybe, all clustering around the shore. there was a lot of commotion, and some kind of blackish fog or mist or something. Insects, maybe? Hard to say, but it was all up and down the coast of that island, and it looked like things were coming and going from farther in. Didn't look like anything from earth, you ask me. Maybe the natives are getting restless?

"Thank you, miss! You are most pleasant to talk with! Ah, do you happen to have a doctor around here? I got my hand blistered pretty badly when I was working with my truck."

Go to the doctor if there's any and get my blistered hand treated properly. After that, or if there ain't any, go to the John's place. Admire his workhop and ask if he got any extra car batteries, coolers, insulators, tanks, wires and stuff I need to build a electrolysis chamber for getting oxygen and hydrogen from water, and then cooling them into liquids. Offer to do repairs/construction of machinery as payment.
