Huh, I thought we knew each other, werent we travelling together?

"I'm Melkas by the way. And this place looks like its full of shit, why would everyone just stay closed in his house?"

LOOT MARKET STALLS!!!
((Also, it says that he 'blistered his hand'.))

"I'm Talisman. I agree, but I think we better do this carefully."

Hold the flare gun in my left hand, and be ready to switch it to my right in case I need light. Keep the pistol in my right hand. Be stealthy.

You both proceed down the street, Talisman standing guard while Melkas grabs as many things as possible. He grabs a variety of locally grown cheeses, and strange beets that must be indigenous to the area, able to grow in a climate with little water. He eats some sugary sweets that he finds. The place remains eerily quiet. It's all very suspicious. You see brief glimpses of movement in some back alleys and on the rooftop of the large building down the street. Your not sure if you imagined it or not.

((Heh, judo kicks.))

"We might wanna go and see if the deer's feeling black and gunky, too."

Go and see if the deer seems infested with demon-stuff, too. If yes, burn. Continue looking for other threatening demon-infested phenomena afterward.
"We might wanna go and see if the deer's feeling black and gunky, too."

Go and see if the deer seems infested with demon-stuff, too. If yes, burn. Continue looking for other threatening demon-infested phenomena afterward.
((We're not the ones who found the deer. Megggas and Jon did. They also found the blackleg wolf.))

"Deer, rabbits, squirrels, bear, whatever is out here. Let's go. This could take forever." Track the evil demon sludge. If Ed can follow the backtrail, then do that and follow carefully. Otherwise, track backward through the woods toward base, crisscrossing the trail we arrived on, looking for signs of evil infection.

You three head back to the deer corpse, and find a circle of black slowly growing outwards from the bite wounds, spreading throughout the corpse. It seems that it spreads more slowly when the host is dead. It could also be because it just bit the deer, rather than stinging it.

You burn the corpse, and try and see if Ed can find a trail. He stands rigid as a stone "I refuse to get near that stuff..." You make your way back to the camp, finding the blackened corpses of a few small creatures, squirrels and racoons. You burn them and continue on. You enter the camp and find that The Professor has modified the radio, and turned it into a mobile backpack. Phil and Jon are standing by a dead deer that has had it's throat slit, and a live wolf is laying on the ground, it's back leg black and twitching rapidly.

((Judo does have kicks, but those are not permitted in official sports. And I have unleashed something horrible. 8) ))

Build new module for our relay(s). It provides new wide range communication network using new power based encryption type. Hopefully undetectable and unbreakable, or at least hard one. Assuming we have any spare electronics left.

After that, chill. Sunbathe, if sun shining warmly enough. Solve some hard physics problems for fun. Wait for my companions.

You modify the radio with your experimental encryption method, and you turn it into a system that one wears on their back. As it was stuck in the pod before then. Only thing about this system, is that if you want to broadcast using that encryption method, you have to build a specialized reciever for the people on the other end. The encyption should be fairly powerful, but there are no garuntees on it's effectiveness over a long period of time. Initially no one will even put effort to decrypting it, as not many people use it, and it's being broadcasted from a forest in the middle of no where. But, if it gets heavy use, there might be the occasional background roll for it.

You cry from the use of your powers, and lay on the hover transports deck, thinking of the universes secrets.

"....this looks like something the professor needs to see."

Put the deer corpse down.  Reduce the wolf's sense of touch to 10% and lift up the wolf and carry it back to the camp.  If I can't carry the wolf, then try to make it follow me back to the camp, if possible.

Jon Goldbloom action:
If Phil needs assistance moving the wolf, then assist with that.  Otherwise, attempt to drag the deer corpse.  If I haven't already, slit the deer's throat using a knife or sharp instrument, so that the body bleeds out while it's being dragged.

(These black goo creatures might be attracted to blood, so we might be able to lure them to us with a trail of deer blood.)

You pick the wolf up, careful not to touch the black leg, as Phil slits the deer's throat. The black leg of the wolf thrashes as Phil slits the deer's throat, and the wolf whines out in pain, despite the reduction of touch you gave it. You both proceed back to camp, and arrive before Newton, Fridge, and Ed do. The Professor is sunning himself on the hover transport's deck, he has turned the radio into a mobile backpack form.
______________________________________________________________________________________________

Initially this black gunk crap was just a backfire from power over-use. But, I decided that I could go somewhere with it, and had it do more. Be afraid  :P .

"Professor, this black shit that came out of your leg is agressive. We've had to burn several animals on the way back here. Your leg turned into some kind of scorpion thing and went around stinging and biting everything. That wolf is going to turn soon, from the looks of it. You'd better contain it's leg, unless you want us to do what we've been doing all damned day.

Prepare to shoot the wolf. If they remove the leg, and the wolf is otherwise uninfected, target the leg, until it is contained. Otherwise, soot it until the black goo is dead. Burn the corpse. Use heightened gravity to keep it from getting away.

"Eh, let's just kill it with fire and be done with it."

Shoot the wolf, burn the corpse. No fucking around.

Fridge ignores all the conversation, walks over, and puts a round in the wolfs skull. Seeing how this is going, Newton holds down the corpse, as Fridge lights it afire.

You all hear distances howls, coming from multiple sources. They sound similar to a wolf, but, something is... wrong about how they sound. They send an unnatural shiver through you all. They seem to be a few miles away, towards the northern end of the island.

"Fucking exponential virulent spread," PFC Fridge mutters, making sure his rifle's fully loaded.

Fully load the rifle and look around while not straying from the others. Be ready to shoot evil goo-wolves.

Phil facepalms, and says with an annoyed tone:
"Guys, I didn't lug that wolf all the way back here so that you could just shoot and burn it.  I wanted the professor to take a look at it, so that he could decide what kind of machine to build that could analyze the black goo creature and provide us with more information about it."

Phil looks back at the trail of blood left by the deer corpse, then says:

"Back when me and Jon slit the dead deer's throat, the black goo on the wolf reacted.  Hopefully, every creature that's been infected will follow this blood trail and come right to us.  Then we can exterminate all of them.  Just try to capture at least one so that the professor can take a closer look at it."

"They are spreading faster than we can shoot them. right now our only hope is that they don't take to water or air. because if they do, we better be moving out NOW. Because this planet is already dead."

reload. Sit down. reach out and fiddle with gravity all across the island. see if I can find anything odd, that doesn't react right.

Professor stands up and wears his shirts back on.

"Well its damn good I replaced my leg when I did then. Who knows what kind of crazy experiments our kidnappers have been doing with us.
Now unfortunately I don't have enough parts to build a proper analyzer since I used most of the droppod to build this nifty hover truck. I need more parts. Advanced parts. So I recommend we drive away while we are still not outnumbered.
Say, Newton, could you reduce effect of gravity on this truck permanently? It's low on fuel so it will need some boost if we want to travel any longer distances."

"No wonder they hate us wizard types. We've been here for three hours and we've already doomed the fucking planet," PFC Fridge says. "At least the apocalypse will be good to cover our escape."

"I think we should leave, Melkas."

Leave the city, keeping an eye out for movement. Don't leave it in the same direction we came in.

You both begin walking swiftly out of the city, this time through the northern side. Your almost out of the city when you hear the screams of a dozen voices in an unfamiliar language. Armed people surround you, on the ground and on the rooftops. They are pointing their guns at you and screaming. They have a short discussion and one says in with an accent "Put your weapons down! Are you with them? Are you Federation spies, ones who survived that shuttle crash?"

"Fucking exponential virulent spread," PFC Fridge mutters, making sure his rifle's fully loaded.

Fully load the rifle and look around while not straying from the others. Be ready to shoot evil goo-wolves.

You reload your rifle, sit against a tree near the pod, and wait.

You reload. It's hard to discern anything at that distance, and with all the trees. Multiple things seem to be moving closer though... from all directions.

Professor stands up and wears his shirts back on.

You do so.

Phil, Newton, Jon, Fridge, Professor:

You all wait, guns at the ready, prepared to fight at a moments notice. About 30 minutes pass, the howls getting closer and closer. You hear loud crashes and yips all around you. Slick black canines slip out of the woods, thin hard plates beginning to form on their bodies, 7 total. They growl at you all, slowly making their approach, ready to strike. They have entered from the north and east. You hear something coming from the south, something very loud, brush is crunching, and small trees are snapping in it's wake.

PFC Fridge shoots a wolf with his trusty gauss rifle. Maybe more than one, if time were to permit.

"All right. The truck is going to leave now. Stay behind fighting pointlessly or hop on."

Drive the hover truck away from the area regardless if anyone else is on or not. Hastily, but fuel efficiently. To east, and then south I think, avoiding that tree snapping thing from south. Onwards to civilization, if anyone tells me where one can be found.

And MWP is already on truck, right?

"Hrm."

Hop onto the truck, then shoot anything threatening that comes after us with trusty gauss rifle.
