Huh, I thought we knew each other, werent we travelling together?
"I'm Melkas by the way. And this place looks like its full of shit, why would everyone just stay closed in his house?"
LOOT MARKET STALLS!!!
((Also, it says that he 'blistered his hand'.))
"I'm Talisman. I agree, but I think we better do this carefully."
Hold the flare gun in my left hand, and be ready to switch it to my right in case I need light. Keep the pistol in my right hand. Be stealthy.
You both proceed down the street, Talisman standing guard while Melkas grabs as many things as possible. He grabs a variety of locally grown cheeses, and strange beets that must be indigenous to the area, able to grow in a climate with little water. He eats some sugary sweets that he finds. The place remains eerily quiet. It's all very suspicious. You see brief glimpses of movement in some back alleys and on the rooftop of the large building down the street. Your not sure if you imagined it or not.
((Heh, judo kicks.))
"We might wanna go and see if the deer's feeling black and gunky, too."
Go and see if the deer seems infested with demon-stuff, too. If yes, burn. Continue looking for other threatening demon-infested phenomena afterward.

((We're not the ones who found the deer. Megggas and Jon did. They also found the blackleg wolf.))
"Deer, rabbits, squirrels, bear, whatever is out here. Let's go. This could take forever." Track the evil demon sludge. If Ed can follow the backtrail, then do that and follow carefully. Otherwise, track backward through the woods toward base, crisscrossing the trail we arrived on, looking for signs of evil infection.
You three head back to the deer corpse, and find a circle of black slowly growing outwards from the bite wounds, spreading throughout the corpse. It seems that it spreads more slowly when the host is dead. It could also be because it just bit the deer, rather than stinging it.
You burn the corpse, and try and see if Ed can find a trail. He stands rigid as a stone
"I refuse to get near that stuff..." You make your way back to the camp, finding the blackened corpses of a few small creatures, squirrels and racoons. You burn them and continue on. You enter the camp and find that The Professor has modified the radio, and turned it into a mobile backpack. Phil and Jon are standing by a dead deer that has had it's throat slit, and a live wolf is laying on the ground, it's back leg black and twitching rapidly.
((Judo does have kicks, but those are not permitted in official sports. And I have unleashed something horrible. ))
Build new module for our relay(s). It provides new wide range communication network using new power based encryption type. Hopefully undetectable and unbreakable, or at least hard one. Assuming we have any spare electronics left.
After that, chill. Sunbathe, if sun shining warmly enough. Solve some hard physics problems for fun. Wait for my companions.
You modify the radio with your experimental encryption method, and you turn it into a system that one wears on their back. As it was stuck in the pod before then. Only thing about this system, is that if you want to broadcast using that encryption method, you have to build a specialized reciever for the people on the other end. The encyption should be fairly powerful, but there are no garuntees on it's effectiveness over a long period of time. Initially no one will even put effort to decrypting it, as not many people use it, and it's being broadcasted from a forest in the middle of no where. But, if it gets heavy use, there might be the occasional background roll for it.
You cry from the use of your powers, and lay on the hover transports deck, thinking of the universes secrets.
"....this looks like something the professor needs to see."
Put the deer corpse down. Reduce the wolf's sense of touch to 10% and lift up the wolf and carry it back to the camp. If I can't carry the wolf, then try to make it follow me back to the camp, if possible.
Jon Goldbloom action:
If Phil needs assistance moving the wolf, then assist with that. Otherwise, attempt to drag the deer corpse. If I haven't already, slit the deer's throat using a knife or sharp instrument, so that the body bleeds out while it's being dragged.
(These black goo creatures might be attracted to blood, so we might be able to lure them to us with a trail of deer blood.)
You pick the wolf up, careful not to touch the black leg, as Phil slits the deer's throat. The black leg of the wolf thrashes as Phil slits the deer's throat, and the wolf whines out in pain, despite the reduction of touch you gave it. You both proceed back to camp, and arrive before Newton, Fridge, and Ed do. The Professor is sunning himself on the hover transport's deck, he has turned the radio into a mobile backpack form.

Initially this black gunk crap was just a backfire from power over-use. But, I decided that I could go somewhere with it, and had it do more. Be afraid
