"Let me concentrate for a moment and see if I can feel out the guys up above. I don't know if I'm quite in shape for it at the moment though.

"Huh?  You got some kind of sixth sense?  Hmm....interesting..."

Quote
You hear a faint crying outside, turn around, and see turn and see a tall muscular ogre of a man(you think). It's naked... and it's eyes are completely white. It has a dumb look on it's face and drools a bit.

"Uh, hello there."

Quote
You see hatches that can be accessed on the floor and ceiling of the elevator, for use in zero gravity situations. Though since there is gravity currently, someone would have to rappel down with ropes to access it. As far as you can tell no one is on top of the elevator... yet. You think you could lock the doors shut. But, you would need to do it yourself manually each time, you don't know how to make them lock automatically.

"I've taken a look at the elevator.  If we decide to use it to go somewhere, I think I could lock the doors shut as we arrive, so that we don't get ambushed.  We could instead try exiting the elevator through one of the hatches.  Though, with the gravity on, I suppose we wouldn't be able to do much in the elevator shaft, unless we get lucky and find a way into the ventilation system from there.  Eh, I don't know, anyone else have any ideas?"

Professor steps out from behind the boxes limping and tears flowing.
"I'm sorry, I'm so sorry..." He sniffs.

"Professor, can you build a force shield projector or something before you do ... whatever it is you are doing? Something to stop bullet from tearing us all to shreds when the elevator opens?"

"That's *sniff* a good idea. I do need some high tech parts in order to make such thing. For now, use him." Professor says pointing at the big naked man while wiping his tears.
"Oh, could you give me some ammo. My mobile weapon needs some extra."

Designate Phil as an ally. Designate flesh golem as an ally. Order the flesh golem into the elevator standing next to my weapons platform. Get into elevator and stand behind my creations in order to get maximum shielding from them.

((Sorry, HavingPhun, got my games mixed up, or something.  :-[))

"I can feel them, up there. Yes, I believe, with a little focus, I can use this through walls. That's gonna make ambushing us much harder. The question is, how will we get into the bridge, and into the engine room? both points are generally necessary if one wants to operate a space craft."

Newton kneels to talk to Ed.
"Ed? Can you get us inside the bridge when we get there? Would you be able to override a lockdown established from within the bridge?"
Newton looks up at the others as well
"How about you guys? Any experience with bridge functions?"
Recall any knowledge I have concerning military protocols regarding bridge access and lockdowns. What would be the weakest point in the bridge's defenses? Additionally, recall whether one could fly a ship from engineering in an emergency.

Newton notices the new giant and hears a familiar sobbing. "That's ... New. Professor? Professor, are you okay? You don't look well. Fridge, bring those medical supplies, would you?"
Eyeing the weapon platform and the flesh golem somewhat warily, but without real fear, having heard the Professor claim authority over them, Newton approaches the professor and inspects his face and his leg.

"No, I'm not really okay. Something got into my leg through the wound I got earlier. Black worms or something. I have no idea where those came from."

"With that kind of initiative you'll be Sergeant Nosebleed in no time at all," says PFC Fridge, passing his supplies to Newton.

Hand Newton my medical supplies. Not the vitamins, though.

"Anyway, let's see... engineering is currently poisonous, medical center is where we murdered our way through, I think I came from General Quarters 1... what do you guys say we check out either Telecommunications or General Quarters 2? Though then again, the bridge might not have been locked down yet, so we might as well check that. Private Nosebleed, work some magic on the guys above as we ascend. Maybe squish one of them, make the others panic."

Get the crate out of the door and press the button for the Bridge. As good a place to start as any, right? Maybe put some of the junk in front of the door to use as cover in the near future.

"Black worms? That sounds really bad, actually. Like a magical reaction or something.

Herd any stragglers into the elevator. Position the flesh golem in front of the door, with the weapon platform next to it. Do what I can for the Professor's leg before we ascend, whether that is simply binding it, or using power to draw some of the creatures out and crush them. Nothing too risky though.

"I can't fix him and crush our enemies at the same time. I hope your leg can wait til the elevator ride is over, Professor."

As we ascend, feel out the objects in the halls above us. If we stop on a floor, throw any groups of manlike objects around, using enough power to lift them to the ceiling or smack them against a wall, but not so much as to strain me. do not use power on floors we  do not stop on. If I can sense weapons, and there are less than three men on a floor, simply increase the weapons' mass twentyfold.

You designate them both as allies and all pile into the elevator.

Ed gives you a quizzical look, pulls his ears back, and whines bit. As if saying "I have paws...".

You think it would be possible to fly the ship from engineering with the right knowledge and skill. That is if the engine is even operational. You remember an old ship that was turned into a museum that you visited. It had large blast doors that it could lock down the bridge with. If this ship has them it would take explosives, tools and or time to break them open.

You briefly examine the professor's leg. It appears to you that it is actually a black liquid in his veins, not worms. It is spreading very slowly but surely. It will reach his vital areas in a few days if not treated.

Fridge hands you the supplies and you all ascend up the elevator.

"With that kind of initiative you'll be Sergeant Nosebleed in no time at all," says PFC Fridge, passing his supplies to Newton.

Hand Newton my medical supplies. Not the vitamins, though.

You give him the supplies, but not the vitamins, you all ascend up the elevator. The flesh golem blocks the door well, so you don't pile boxes.

All:

You all ascend up the elevator to the bridge. You prepare to fight, but, the door opens and the bridge is empty. You see a plague labeled "Bridge" above a large blast door that is closed shut. There is nothing but the sound of yourselves breathing, and the air filters. They cleanse the air of toxins and recycle the CO2 waste that the crew exhale. The vents are too small to crawl in here. Even for the dog. There is a desk where a secretary would normally sit, but, it is empty.

Most of the guards must be below you all agree. This is confirmed when you hear on the radio: "Activating breaching charges in 3....2....1!". There is a loud pop on a level below you. They seemingly were breaking through the hatch to reach medbay and kill you all.

I was typing one of the last sentences when I hit some button and it made me restart.  >:(

Edit: It seems that Spiderking50 is no longer playing. He was last in the bridge, we are just going to assume the his character had a heart attack, you all see him laying against the desk. ((Nevermind that, I made a mistake)). Soon, I will probably allow another 6 or so people join in.

"Huh. On one hand, that would've prolly been a bit nasty. On the other hand, we missed out on looting some breaching charges."

Push a crate into the elevator door again to troll the ship inhabitants further.

"Now then, Private Nosebleed, this business gives me a good idea."

Since I seem to be familiar with the general shape of bridges in ships, where would I find a switch to raise the blast door? Try poking around with my power within the bridge and pull a few likely suspects for the release. Maybe telekinetically crush the authoritative guy's windpipe right quick if I can find him (or just strangle him the regular telekinetic way if that's unlikely to work).

"We might have been better off eliminating those clones, true. Leave no enemy alive behind you, and all. I had hoped we could get here before the bridge was sealed though."

Use my mass sense to get a feel for the bridge layout. Look for people inside. Also look for potential structural weaknesses, like if the floor is thinner than the walls and more easily torn through. feel around on the floor below for movement of mass as well.

((I always wondered about floors in spaceship bridges. It seems like an oversight easy enough to make, not to properly armor the floor. Also, I am trying to leave as much of the ship functional a possible. Fridge likes looting bodies. Smith thinks a little larger 8) ))

Phil notices Newton using his sixth sense, and has an idea.

"Hmm..I hope you don't mind me experimenting a bit.  Let me know if you feel any different."

Attempt to amplify Newton's sixth sense to 200%.  If this doesn't work, amplify my hearing to 300% and place my ear against the Bridge door so that I can hear what's happening on the other side.  Look near the blast door for a way to open it.

Yes, those in the waitlist will be put in first. If there are any places left afterwards, that is when i'll have others join. ______________________________________________________________________________________________

((Ah, darn, I didn't see that. Thank you for pointing that out. So, he is actually alive, I suppose that you can control him if you wish Ozark, if no one objects. Though if no one wants to control his character I can handle that.))

You begin to look for a layout of the bridge. It's a fairly large room, there are several long tables, with (computers?) on them. There seems to be another hallway on it's left side. You think there might be one person in there, though it's odd... many things are moving. You look over and see Fridge concentrating deeply, a klaxon sounds and the bridge door opens. He must of been throwing things around trying to find the switch.

"Huh. On one hand, that would've prolly been a bit nasty. On the other hand, we missed out on looting some breaching charges."

Push a crate into the elevator door again to troll the ship inhabitants further.

"Now then, Private Nosebleed, this business gives me a good idea."

You block the elevator. Well, let's see how the dice favor you.

[5]

Lucky, lucky...

You feel around on the bridge, trying to judge when you are touching objects by the amount of strain you feel. You close your eyes and try to think of nothing but your current task, concentrating deeply. A klaxon sounds, and the bridge door begin's to open.

Professor continues sobbing as laws of physics are being broken all around him.

Command the weapon and golem out of the elevator. Loot the secretary's desk.

The golem belches and moves out of the elevator with the weapon's platform. You find: A box of blank paper, a stapler, a staple remover, many space pens (can be used in zero g's), staples, a ruler, 6 feet of thin but strong rope, and roll of duct tape about half used. The rope could probably hold a weight of ~250 pounds. You hear a klaxon sound, and a loud humming, the bridge door has began to open!

You try to amplify his sense, and there is seemingly no effect. You press your ear to the wall with enhanced hearing, and hear the sound of things being knocked around, as if someone is just throwing anything that isn't nailed down. You hear a klaxon sound, and a loud humming, the bridge door has began to open!

All:

First, I messed up and didn't see Spiderking50's message about being out of country, his character is still alive. Sorry about that Spiderking50. One of you can control his character if you wish, just decide it amongst yourselves so we can keep moving along. If none of you want to control his character, I can do so, so don't feel like you have to.

Next, you all see the Bridge blast doors slowly slide open. You all walk within, it's a mess in there. Fridge must have thrown around a bunch of things while trying to find the switch. You see a man with long fresh cuts on his face and left arm, he is sitting at a table in the center of the bridge. He looks different than the clone soldiers, and has set a pistol down on the table in front of him, sliding it to the other end, out of his reach.

There are many computers in here, used to operate the ship. Though one stands out in particular. Behind the man there is a chair, with arm and leg rests. It has many monitors all around it, and must be the main terminal used by the captain of the ship. You see a hallway to the left, the plaque above it is labeled "Shuttles and escape pods".

(Huh, the captain ain't a clone. Looks like we might get some kind of boss battle.)

"Hello Captain.  Surrender now and we might be merciful."

Observe Captain.  If he makes any aggressive gestures, immediately reduce his sight to 10%.

(if no one else wants to control spider, I might submit an action for him)
