Ozark NAV already claimed a spot before me, so add me to the wait list:

Spoiler: Character (click to show/hide)

EDIT: Typo
I added you to the waitlist. I'll give NAV a few days to post a sheet, if not, i'll just have you join in first and stick them on the waitlist.

I ask where I am and what's going on. I raise my hands slowly. If they come too close and don't answer my questions then I zap their pistols causing the bullets inside to combust backwards and explode out of the back of the gun.

I ask where I am and what's going on. I raise my hands slowly. If they come too close and don't answer my questions then I zap their pistols causing the bullets inside to combust backwards and explode out of the back of the gun.

You raise your hands as the two men approach. You ask several questions, and the men continue their approach, an unwavering slow march forward, their guns pointed at you, ready to fire. You decide that you don't want to find out what they plan on doing.

Your hands still up, you focus your mind, and channel a two small bolts of electricity towards the men's pistols. The pistols do not explode as planned, all the pistols do is make a moderately loud humming noise, as if their capacitors are charging up. You realize that they must be gauss pistols, no gunpowder.

But, your attack isn't completely unsucessful, the electric currents manage to worm their way through the air and reach the two men. They both drop their pistols and collapse to the floor, they spasm uncontrollable on the ground. Giving you an opportunity to attack.

Newton rubs his forehead for a moment, frustrated at his failure with the computer. He looks across the room at the elevator and ponders, conflicted. It is clearly a chokepoint, and could be quite risky to ride into anywhere inhabited. But the alternative is to remain here. Hmm, that metal statuette is nice, and it is heavy. Take the FSS Celestia with me. Approach and examine the elevator. press the button.

You leave the comfort of the small office and begin your approach to the elevator. Upon pressing the button, there is a short wait and the near silent hum of the elevators electric motor. The door opens. The elevator is empty, it is fairly large, and has many straps and hooks that a roller bed could be attached to in low or zero gravity situations.

You look at the control panel. The floor that you are currently on is lit up. It has a piece of tape over it's label that reads: "Temporary storage". You rip the tape off and see that the original label read "Level 2".
There is only one other floor that the elevator heads to, "Level 1". You realize that it must be an elevator meant solely for medical, which explains it's large size, and various straps.

You press the button for level one, the door closes, and after a few seconds, it re-opens. You peek your head out the door, and see a room much larger than the one you were just in. This, must be the main medbay. You scan the room, on the left side, there is a room labeled "Storage", and several examination rooms. There is also another office, and a surgery room. The left side is fairly empty. The far end of the left side contains a reception area, with a desk for it's workers, and a set of double doors that must be the entrance.

The center of the room contains a variety of boxes, and partially unpacked medical equipment. It looks as if they are also in the process of putting up some new rooms in the center, as there are also some un-finished walls.

You continue to scan the area for a bit, and just a you are about to exit the elevator, when you see three men enter the room by reception. You quickly dive out of the elevator, and behind a pile of boxes in right outside of it. As far as you can tell, the men didn't see you. Two of the men begin unpacking and assembling some of the equipment. The third man picks up a box, and begins to head towards the elevator you just entered. He will be able to see you if you don't move.

((Yeah, be careful how far you let players go with names and powers. It's a slippery slope.))

Let the knife stay in the wound for now, it keeps most of the blood in. Carefully drag myself to the bed and tear few sheets paper. Open cabinets and look for bandages, pills, bottles, more strings. If strings are available or I didn't use my previous one, then build a tourniquet from strings and torn sheets and apply it on my leg before taking knife out. Also cry a bit for breaking laws of physics again.
Loot cabinets.

You pull some of the paper off the bed. It is thin, and doesn't stop the bleeding too well, no matter how much you use. You scavenge through the cabinets and drawers, and manage to find some bandages and gauss, and an actual tourniquet that is made of rubber. You wrap it tight above your wound and pull the knife out swiftly.

[3]

The pain hits you like a brick, and you take a moment to recollect yourself. Shortly after you cover your wound with a large bandage and wrap it tightly with gauss. It works well enough, and stops the bleeding. Should do for now, but you might want some stitches before you do anything more than walking with that leg, and will probably want to disinfect the wound at some point.

You cry, for yourself, and for your poor, poor laws of physics. Damn whoever did this to you, damn them!

Check out the room that the man left from. Ready my new gun.
[3+1+1]

With years of experience under your belt, you take a moment to steel yourself, and enter a trance like state in preparation for conflict. You have trained for this kind of thing before. How your weapon should be held, the methodical movements when clearing an area room by room, and areas that you should look for while entering the room.

That being said, this couldn't have been easier. You approach the room slowly, then, as if at the end of an imaginary countdown, burst through the open doorway. The room isn't much larger than your broom closet. It has a desk on one wall, with several chairs. There are many monitors on the wall. You see one man in the room and quickly charge at him. You smack him upside the head with your pistol before he can even react, and he falls out of his chair and onto his ass.

He looks extremely similar to the man down the hall that you just killed. Brothers?

Tell the dog to keep watch while I look through the room. I'd rather not meet what this guy was afraid of.

The dog silently complies and watches the hallway while you explore the room. It looks like the man hasn't been here very long, and as if he doesn't own any personal items. The room contains an uncomfortable looking metal bed, with a few messed up sheets upon it, and a small footlocker.

The footlocker was already open. At first glance, all it contains are a bunch of clothes. All the same type in fact. Just many pairs of black federation uniforms with no insignia or other symbols. But definetely Federation based on the familiar sharp and simple design of them. You pull some of his clothes out, and see a black handle. You pull it from the footlocker.

In your hands, an expertly crafted blade. It weighs roughly 7 pounds, yet it's weight seems to be balanced perfectly throughout the entire weapon. The blade itself is 20 inches (~50.8cm)long, razor thin, and 1.5 inches wide(~3.81cm). It is double sided and the blade is opaque, with a faint red hue. Stunned, you realize that this is an extremely rare find, a duranium blade.

Forged from an alloy of several standard elements, and some of the exotic elements that are made as by-products of the creation of Half-Matter, the exotic material that allows warp drives to function. These blades can cut through carbon-steel and some stronger alloys with ease, and never become dull. Though there are more rare and famed blades such as adamantium blades, these are still extremely useful.

The book that the man was trying to hit you with was titled "Warp drives, and the mysterious science behind them". You pick the book up and head down the hall to see how the dog is handling. You see it run down the hall and around the corner to the right.

Move stealthily around the stack of boxes, trying to remain out of sight of all three men. Let the one man ride the elevator down, before attempting to sneak past the other two. Did I see if they were armed?

"Don't make a move, asshole," PFC Fridge says at the fellow on the ground.

If this guy resists, shoot him in the kneecap. Otherwise disarm him quickly and maybe ask him a question or two about what the hell's going on here. For example:

"Tell me what's going on here, or I will kill you in a very painful fashion. Who are you, and what's happening?"

Also, take up position against one of the walls so I can shoot the guy who just left if he returns.

I lunge for the guns, picking one up and kicking the other away. I aim at the guards and repeat my questions.

[2]

You take the opportunity and grab one of the guns, you kick the other gun, and it flies across the hall into a wall. Upon hitting the wall, it fires and round off, and explodes in rather spectacular fashion. Your gun is humming rather loudly, your shocks must have overloaded the pistols, making them unsafe.

You hold your aim on the two men, and repeat your questions loudly. The man on the left groans, and in a inconsistent rythme says "Hahaha-" he coughs, pulls himself up, sitting down, he says "Looks like you have a little bit of bite eh freak? I'm sure that you are very confused, but don't you worry one bit. They have plans for you..." Your gun is humming increasingly louder, the other man hasn't stirred one bit, but is breathing.

The man on the left continues "Come on now! Shoot me! You can't do it, can you? Sure, you have some powers, but you fools are very useful in the en-". The humming of your gun stops, and an instant later, it explodes in your hands, sending a round at the man at higher than normal speeds. The round strikes his chest, leaving a watermelon sized hole, and sending a fine red mist into the air, and caking the area behind the man with blood and gore. The man slumps to the floor, dead.

The guns explosion didn't hurt you at all, you were lucky.

[6]

The second man suddenly springs to life, he kicks a leg out rapidly, and sweeps your legs out from under you. You fall to the floor, and with the man coming at you, kick your legs around rapidly. One of your legs catches the man in his nose, he instantly goes limp, and stops breathing soon after. His nose bone must have been driven through his brain, killing him.

Move stealthily around the stack of boxes, trying to remain out of sight of all three men. Let the one man ride the elevator down, before attempting to sneak past the other two. Did I see if they were armed?

[5]

You wait for the perfect moment, and move quickly to another pile of boxes, next to the examination rooms. None of the men see you, and none will be able to see you unless they get closer to you. From your first position, you did not see any weaponry. From here, you can see that the men do a fair array of weaponry. You a pistol, and several knives concealed under each of the mens clothing. One of the men assembling equipment does have a submachine gun strapped to his back.

You here someone cursing in the examination room behind you. The two men assembling equipment begin to walk towards you, intent on checking the room out.

[3+1]

Apparently the first hit didn't put your message across, the man tries to throw a punch at you, which you dodge. You put a round in his knee, take a pistol, and knife off of him, and position yourself in the corner opposite to the doorway. After the man stops writhing you proceed and ask your questions. The man flips you off, and stick your guns barrel against his other knee.

The man says "No! No! Fine, i'll just tell you, your going to be dead soon anyways. If you haven't figured it out, we are on a ship, and old high speed freighter-passenger ship. The Federation bought it from an old business man, and we are still in the process of performing modifications on it. We are orbiting a planet, where I can't tell you, not in the Sol system anymore though. Why you are here? There are rumors, but grunts like me don't know for sure."

The man looks around the room, at his knee, and at your gun, as if taking in his current situation. "Should be any time now..." he mumbles. Before you can respond, you hear a subtle click as comms come back online. The monitors light up with video feed of two elevators and some airlocks, all empty. The man breathes a deep breath, and says on comms "Unit 3824 compromised! Self terminating". Before you can react, the man bites down on something in his mouth and stops breathing.

You hear the elevator door open outside the room,  and wait for the second man to enter the room. Instead, you hear a pistol go off several times, and the man screaming, before it all goes silent. You slowly exit the room, gun in hand, and see the man dead on the floor, his neck spurting blood. A german shepard with completely blue eyes is sitting next to the man, it's muzzle colored red from blood.

"Well, bye buddy."
Close the door, and find a place to hide if possible.

You close the door, and look for a hiding place. The room is fairly empty, so you resort to hiding under the covers of the bed. The monsters can't get you if you have your blanky. You hear a single gunshot, roughly half a minute later, you hear several more, and then silence.

((I found what? An unit of magnetic field intensity? What?))

*Sniff* Now is not time for tears. Hold yourself up man, you must do science!

Okay, loot the whole room. Use the knife to force or carve open any locked drawers. What do I have?

[1]

You first hit the easy areas, and then proceed to the locked drawers. A few of them open rather easily, but one of them is particularly tough, and your knife snaps completely in two.

You find: Lots of cardboard boxes, more gauss, a roll of gauze, some medical tape, bandages, a box of rubber gloves, a stethescope, 3 syringes, many "popsicle" sticks, many cotton balls.

You curse loudly because of your broken knife.

Megggas - Phil Jenkins - Start:
You awaken in a air duct. Your whole body aches, so you must have been in here for a while. There is a fan running a few feet behind you, so you cannot go that way. Directly in front of you, there is a grate on the "floor" of the duct, you look through it and see a small office. A man is sitting at the desk, and answering questions for another man who is standing. The man at the desk is wearing a black-military looking uniform, with a line of red on each shoulder, he must be an officer. The other man is wearing something similar without the lines of red.

The man who is standing leaves the room and closes the door. The door is very thick, as are the walls. They are probably quite good at keeping sound contained...

You crawl ahead for a moment, the duct ends at another grate. You look through the grate, and see at least 20 men working hard, all doing different tasks. This looks to be one of the engine rooms of a space ship. The men look to be performing maintenance on certain areas, and outright replacing others. Oddly, they all look exactly the same. Same hair color, skin color, and faces. There are too many for them to all be brothers.

"Heh, you wouldn't happen to be a benevolent talking dog, would you? I mean, you killed that guy, so you can't be all bad, right?" says PFC Fridge to the German Shepherd.

If not, try to gauge its intent. If it tries to attack, throw it off balance with some minor telekinesis and use the time afforded to shoot.
