Yes, because I had watched the trailer for volume 3 and it said October 24 and then the same thing happened.

To be fair, I wrote that I couldn't watch it yet because it's still "Supporters Only".

And here the game ends for me. In the history of this game, none of the previous GMs were even close as bad as Sanure. Everytime the game manages to run smoothly for a bit, it's only because those are the times that Sanure is not interacting with it. First we put up months of time for Sanure who has promised us a system to play the game with, and we get a garbled mess of nonsense, but really, it wasn't as much Sanures inability to perceive numbers or think things through for a while, but rather some sort of crippling issue with Sanures personality that makes it impossible to find and critique, or even suggestions issued without critique as anything other than a personal insult. I am not sure what is going on in Sanures life, but there seems to be a very deep-rooted insecurity and frustration going on, that more or less has turned Sanure into this. It's not that Sanure is unable to comprehend what people want, but simply unwilling to. We are Sanures subjects, here to entertain him. There is never any chance of compromise. I AM THE GM, END OF STORY OR I LOCK THE THREAD! A GMs task is to make sure people are having fun, not vice versa, and clearly, Sanure is not having fun, but rather finds GMing a chore. So I stepped in and tried my best to keep the game going by supplying a proper system, and that was fun, but now here we are and really, it was expected that people would make a few mistakes with how things work, it's the first time using the system, it's to be expected. But instead of simply acknowledging the mistake, Sanure in his insecurity and stubborness refuses to admit things went wrong, and insists things go his way. Meanwhile the invisible thing, where the entire playerbase, including PN who came up with it, agrees it needs to be balanced, and Sanure immediatly plays the I AM THE GM card to overrule any reason. The common factor? Me. Sanure hates me, because I dare to not put up with his nonsense. Every body just kinda rolls eyes and tries to put up with Sanures every whim and nonsensical jumping about, except for me, and Sanure openly tries to opress me for it, immediatly disagreeing with everything I say, no matter what it is. It is as he said "I don't think you deserve anything at this point".

Frankly, Sanure has violated everything a GM should be doing, on multiple occasions. Sanure is an obstacle to this game, and I feel more than just disappointed, more like, robbed, for having spent so much time trying to mop up after his mess. While it obviously didn't take me as much time to create the system as it took for Sanure to not create one, it still took effort you know.

So here we are, I simply don't have the patience for a game that runs smoothly and is genuinely fun, except for when the GM decides to interact with it. And honestly, I feel a bit sick in my throat, thinking that Sanure will continue to use the system I provided, which by the way, I have never been thanked for. Why would I, SANURE IS THE GM END OF STORY OR THREAD GETS LOCKED is not compatible with things that actually work as intended.

:/ I don't know how to react to that. I can't say I'm surprised but was getting angry the best way to handle that? When did I ever say I was not going to nerf the invisibility? Was me using the system not thanks enough? Was me not wanting the IC to be clogged with OOC complaints wrong?

Feh. It doesn't matter. The die is cast, and what's done is done.

Also, am now considering rejoining this.

to clarify, a simple analogy. Being a GM is like being a host. In this analogy, you as the host offered no drinks at all. When people asked for drinks, you promised to get them drinks, but remained seated on the couch. When people coughed and asked if it's going to take much longer, you loudly proclaimed the ownership of the house and threathened to end the party immediatly. When you finaly brought drinks, you only offered strong alcohol, eventhough it's 10 am and everybody got appointments laters, but didn't see anything wrong with it. When people, rightfully, insisted this was a bad idea, you loudly proclaimed ownership of the house and threathened to end the party immediatly. By now I am fed up and in order to make sure that actually any partying can happen, I go and get up to buy drinks for everyone. Now PN, and I am mostly certain on accident, serves everyone a drink with a little alcohol in them, and I remind him nobody wanted any. Everyone agrees that indeed, alcoholfree is the way to go. And you go ahead and loudly proclaim ownership of the house, and force everyone to finish their drink, they can get the alcoholfree drinks later.

This is how you feel as a GM.

Please do not read the above in an angry in-head voice from me, because as I write this, I am not angry (except at Elf and his almost hateful reaction. this guy and his ostracision can go stay away for all I care), in fact, I quite like you and your roleplay, and really hope to see you in other games. Problem is, I think you are utterly inadequate as a GM. You see, I chose the host analogy because I think being a GM and a host is very much the same. The central part is taking efforts on yourself to please others, even if you don't nessecarily agree with their views. You can't really do a good job at this unless you take pleasure (or money, lol) from this. You see, I love being a host. Why else did I elect to toss my education in chemistry, a much higher paying, more prestigious, much less physicaly and mentaly straining job, over cooking, a job that is known to burn souls like a smoker burns cigarettes. It's something you really need to want to do.

But I really don't see that with you. I acknowledge that you want everyone to gather and have fun together like in the old rotmg days, but sadly, not for it's own sake, but because you miss and want to recreate those days. So you kinda open the whole thing, but realize that being a GM takes a lot more effort, time and patience than you initialy thought you had. You thought eh, with three GMs, how hard can it be, but the two you were relying on were just as caught up in other affairs as you were, and I believe also far less motivated than you, so you were left mostly to your own devices. Sadly, and don't take this as an insult, you seem to have problems to translate your thoughts and intentions into a concrete form, so what previously probably made actual proper sense in your head sort of comes out incoherent and improper. You were simply overwhelmed by the combination of the stress you have, and your own shortcomings. And this where of *course*, and really there is no way around this, the critique comes in. And sadly, I must note that you are a person who has a difficult life. Problems finding a job, a difficult family life, problems in your social circles. I know these problems, trust me, and I know they are frustrating and hard and really can leave a bitter taste in your mouth. And so I really, 100%, understand your reaction. "Oh man what the hell is Akroma on about again, bitch is never going to be satisfied, urgh". Yes, I understand that. Problem is in the GM position, you have authority, and for once in your overall problematic situation, you sit on the longer lever. But this is where the problem arises. Excuse the lame game of thrones quote, but a King who has to say he is king, is no king. As a GM your job is not primarily to rule, but to please, and all the authority you have relies entirely on the players agreeing with you. I AM THE GM, is a card you can play, but rarely and carefully. You drop it at every corner.

My approach when I disagree with something, and boy do I ever disagree with things, is to actually point out what is wrong, and why it is wrong, I can go on about it day and night about what is all wrong with something. But, and some people might disagree, because text-based mediums lose a lot of information, am not usualy angry when doing so, but am actively making an arguement. Statement, and supporting facts to try and make the other side understand why I think that. And in the past as a GM, I believe I can say that I have ever taken my players complaints about things seriously, and gave them thought and consideration. This is key, because as a GM my task is to try and let people have fun, and my reward is me joining in their fun. I'd never quit the game just because you disagree and forcefully overrule me, but if you actively refuse to acknowledge an unanimous group decision...

I mean god damnit, I don't have much free time anymore, I don't want to always be angry at you, but just as much as I keep my best to try and keep an eye on your bullshit, boy do you ever keep an eye on me.

For example with the Durah* incident. PN was using the rules wrongly. In case a), he simply had a misunderstanding. Why would I be unjustified in pointing the error out? If I didn't, people would eventually think that the error is actually the right way, and the rules would be turned moot. or b), he used them wrongly on purpose, in which case boy, why weren't YOU the one pointing it out, and argueing in the rules defence.

The only problem here is that it was me who noticed the error, and because you will, without fail, act against my posts with extreme prejudice, go on to defend that this rule violation was entirely okay, and how I am so annoying and disruptive for pointing it out.

And then you have the nerve and ask me if you using my system wasn't thanks enough? All the while claiming that my arguements don't even deserve to be read?

This simply goes to far. How am I going to enjoy the game if you force me to drink your alcohol all the time? This is really difficult, because as long as you keep reading my arguements in an angry voice, you will keep going all defensive and sarcastic, and boy if you keep doing that, I will actually get angry. You have singled me out to much as someone trying to ruin everyones game, when all I am doing is trying to catch all the plates you are dropping. For once, accept my comments as serious attempts to actually create a basis where everyone can have fun, and not for being overly aggressive. I am not sure where this notion even came from. I am not someone who keeps quiet when stuff is not working out, is all. But you just don't seem to really approach the post "You are wrong", further than the word "You", and what is pointing out an error becomes an insult.

To clarify, there is no bad blood with you Sanure. It's just that you really should stop disregarding me as some nuisance, instead of a player.
