Stat them and PM them to me, Elf, and Projeck for approval or subsequent nerfing. Might as well get the spells out of the way now, since any modifications can happen with a proof of concept :)

For one, the only similarity between this and AGE is that some of the stats have the same name. Otherwise, not a single similarity, so don't go quoting that like doctrine. Furthermore:

Use of language aside, this is just asking for minmaxing. I understand one of the drawbacks is to knock them out of magical mode, but there are better ways to do this. Removing all of their access to magic outside of magical mode would be a good start.

smurf, I just damn said that if you had suggestions or Critic, to PM me, Elf, and Projeck, not start a OOC shit post. So yeah, I'm done with this. I've given you a second and a third chance to stop being asshole. No more. You're out. Oh, and just to say it again (probably to only be ignored again): THE SYSTEM IS NOT FINISHED, nor is it fully following FantasyAGE. First off, FantasyAGE doesn't deal with transformations, nor with magic in the sense that people need for their character. It doesn't handle Summons either. I'm having to do that my self, with the help of Projeck and Elf.

Second, I posted this 13 posts ago:

well, I'm off to work soonish for now, but once I return, I think I will sit down and try and help hammer a few things out here. I had a pretty good idea for a unified spell (and manouver) system, that I'd like to explain fully later.


Meanwhile, there is immediatly something I'd like to adress, as I doubt this would be changed, even if the rules are incomplete: Con being the important stat for hit TN. Since con probably also is what governs how much actual health you got, this stat is, simply, synergistic with itself. You have MORE health, but at the same time, you take LESS damage. With the hit TN being 10+Con, vs a 3d6+attribute (focus has no explanation so far, so disregarded), the odds with equal stats are exactly 50/50 to hit. The problem is, since bosses usualy have higher stats, this quickly goes sour. If your con is only 3 points higher than the attacking enemies accuracy, the chance to hit becomes less than 15%. Just think about that for a moment.

This system is only really able to handle very equal stats.


I very, very much implore you Sanure to make hitting and dodging be 3d6+stat vs 3d6+stat, instead of a straight up 10+stat. This sounds like it makes no difference, but it really really does. And of course, disconnect tankiness from dodginess, if one stat does both, it's way too powerful.
