Name: Lily (shortening of Lilian) Briggs
Age: 16
Gender: Female
Description/Appearance: Lily's 'normal' form (if not her natural form) is a fairly average-sized girl, with a pleasant, stereotypically 'cute' face, all shining eyes and sunny smiles. Her hair is a deep black, and her eyes a reddish-brown, both of which contrast pleasantly with her skin, which is remarkably pale. Her usual attire is just, well, whatever she's wearing. She isn't really fussy, anything that doesn't look bad. She's slim, not particularly curvy, but all in all is a fairly attractive specimen of a young woman, with a cheerful disposition, even if she does look a little sickly and frail.
However, sometimes, in between smiles and giggles, her personality slips to reveal an insatiable hunger that eclipses all her cheerfulness. She stares at people, with eyes far redder in colour than usual, as a starving man would a piece of meat. However, her attitude quickly reverts to normal, and she prefers not to talk about it. Ever.
Her magical form is the same as her ordinary one, but with several key differences, the most evident of which is the colossal gash running parallel to her collarbone, a deep wound that looks freshly-inflicted, leaking black, tar-like blood. Numerous other, equally deep wounds cover her body, staining her clothes. Her eyes are no longer brown in the slightest, being instead bright, almost luminous red, and her mouth is filled with razor-sharp teeth. Her hands are also closer to being claws, with long, sharp fingernails. Her clothes are the same as in her regular form, although they will very probably end up either ruined or needing a very thorough wash. Understandably, she prefers not to be in this form, in public or in private.
Personality-wise, she's cheerful and pleasant to be around, kind and helpful to a fault, and an all-around nice person.
However, after a feeding, she is plunged into melancholy, and shuts herself off from everyone to recover. Seeing as she has to eat once a day... well, she's not the most emotionally stable.
Background: There's very little Lily will tell about her childhood, or indeed any of her life before her premature death.
In fact, she won't talk about her premature death either, but anyone looking at her other form would be able to tell that she was murdered. Brutally. With a knife.
...in fact, all she will mention is occasional unimportant snippets about her past, and even then only rarely. For someone of her temperament, the secrecy is remarkably jarring.
Power: Lily is a ghoul, an undead being with a ravenous hunger for human flesh. The longer she goes without eating, the harder it becomes for her to suppress her urges and the more she has to consume to sate her appetite. Naturally, she's none too happy about this.
To all intents and purposes, Lily is undead. Thus, effects targeting undead also affect her.
While it is certainly a curse, it does come with several boons. Being dead, Lily does not actually have to breathe, eat or drink (besides human flesh) or sleep. However, she does them anyway out of sheer habit, but there is no real necessity.
As well as that, her condition suffuses her with unnatural physical prowess and enhanced senses, allowing her to literally sniff out the presence of human beings (and by extension, other things), see in the dark, and hear things beyond the regular range of hearing.
