Gender: Female/Most likely female. Fur's sorta in the way.
Description/Appearance: Vira is a werewolf. As such, her physical appearance does have a tendency to change on occasion. Normally her form is as follows: she is about 5'7. Her hair appears dark hair black at first glance but on close examination it has a slight blue tinge. Her hair goes down to about her middle back and is slightly unkempt. It looks nice, just it looks like she never gets it cut. Vira's eyes are a dark blue normally, although they tend to change to green when her animalistic traits manifest. She tends to have her tail and wolf ears manifest when in normal form, people tend to not ask about odd things, people are convenient like that. Although she can absorb them as necessary. Her teeth in normal form tend to be sharper then normal and her nails are nearly claws.
Her primary combat form is effectively an anthropomorphic wolf with a slightly more black color compared to her normal form's hair.. Don't touch the claws, they be sharp. Also don't get bit.
Vira can technically turn into a full wolf as well or something in between, although that has less then stellar combat applications. It's just a comfy form.
Technically, being a werewolf, Vira has several forms. The most common one she uses in combat is an anthropomorphic one.
Background: Vira was born a werewolf in a relatively large community. As with most other werechildren, Lune introduced Himself to her. And as with most other werechildren, she pounced on his tail and the introduction devolved into playful rolling around. These shenanigans tend to result in the child becoming a faithful of Lune. It's one thing to have faith that your god exists like christians get to do. it's another matter entirely to have a pleasant memory in your early childhood of hanging from his tail and being able to more or less talk to him whenever. This is how it goes for most followers of Lune.
Among werecreatures, magical talents tend to manifest around age 12-13, which is also around the time that their.. Animalistic sides and abilities begin to surface. Vira specifically manifested a type of channeled affliction. Her initial manifestation was effectively a surge of energy that inflicts vascular rupturing in the contact areas, causing major internal bleeding. Several tests concluded that although she was capable of ranged afflictions, her mindset made it significantly easier to focus the attacks when she is touching the target.
Around age 16, most followers of Lune choose an Aspect to focus on, although some attempt to devote to two of them or even all three. Some simply don't want to focus on a specific aspect as well. The aspects are The Hunt, The Moon, or The Wolf. Vira chose The Wolf, a relatively common choice for werewolves, although the other two are certainly valid.
Around age 17, Vira decided it would be fun to interact with people who weren't wereanimals. She got permission, packed up the relatively small number belongings she deemed necessary to bring, and left. The stuff she left behind simply is waiting for her when she returns.
Currently she is wandering and has been so for months.
Power:
Afflictions. Physical Debuffs: Melee attacks deal damage and then a Debuff based on AP spent. Magical Attacks that inflict Mental/magical Debuffs based on SP spent.
Fang and Claw. Werewolves have claws. They generally rend flesh with them. She's quite able to bite your jugular out. She will do such as well.
Divine Channel. Currently does effectively nothing, however down the line, Vira will gain access to a number of Lune's Boons. Provided she stays faithful at least.
Regeneration. Generally werewolves heal fast. It's not currently fast enough to be noticeable during combat, however it most certainly will cut recovery times down. And there is a potential for it becoming noticeable during combat down the line due to Divine Channel.
Moon Bound. As with most werecreatures, they wax and wane with the moon. Generally this only affects moods, however occasionally, Lunar Events such as the Super Moon, an Eclipse, or a Blue Moon cause a number of Interesting temporary effects on the physiology and magical abilities of a werecreature. They can be both positive and negative.
