If in space you are the law, which is also not how laws work, why would you bother sentencing him if you're gonna kill him? Just kill him; you are the law, after all, nobody can dispute you at all, that's how it works!

@KJ, not a perk plot per say, but you all do get a Level up for free as a 'beating Kren in the engine room without using a gimmick like destroying the engine' reward.

Also aliens... don't follow human laws. You're right. They have their own law system, but also that's out the window because if kidnapping innocents is perfectly acceptable to them, then they sure as hell aren't gonna give a shit that some guy tried to murder said kidnappees.
