Okay, question time:

1. How is the masquerade still a thing if the Five fought off the Layar?
2. How badass advanced is Layar spacefaring?
3. What's stopping me from stealing a mining spaceship and playing magic space engineers?
4. Since the Layar use a combine of magic and tech, how is this explained to the general public?
