So, scrapping Petra- there is basically no way I can make her work with the transformation rules- so meet Tori.
Name: Tori Mycroft
Age: 18
Gender: Female
Description/Appearance: A tall, pale youth with paper-white hair down to her shoulders, and gold-colored eyes on a delicate-looking face. She is thin and wiry in build, although she has not unnoticeable… assets. When given the option, she wears rather light clothing, more for comfort and ease of movement than anything, although when in a colder place she’ll cover up. Down her right side are grey tattoos in swirling patterns. The tattoos are a way to release her latent power, and the hair and eye color
When activating her magic, her eyes and tattoos glow.
She is a bit naive in regards to the ways of the world, and has almost no knowledge of social matters. Slang will fly right over her head, she doesn’t understand the concept of lying, and she doesn’t have the tact to hold her tongue when that might be the smart thing. She does, however, have a somewhat basic education.

Enchant Ammunition (Level 1; Imbue Steel, Imbue Fire)
Tory enchants her pistols’ ammunition, adding either Steel Affinity or Fire Affinity to her next attack.
Guided Shot (Level 3; Damage 2, Ranged 1, Can Not Be Dodged, Cooldown 3)
Tory fires a magic-enhanced and always hitting shot. However, her guns heat up a lot, requiring her to wait a bit before firing another of these.

The ground beneath the enemy’s feet is converted into steel, and spikes come out of the ground to impale them.
Throwing Rods (Level 2; Hinder 3, Damage 1, Charge 1)
Tory grabs a couple of the steel rods she carries on her person, and throws them at the enemy. They convert into daggers as she does this.
Simple Shot (Level 3; No Cooldown 1, Damage 2, Ranged 1)
A simple, magic-charged shot. Back to the basics.
Tory doesn’t really remember where she comes from, originally. All she remembers is white rooms and the orange 3-star logo. By no means does she remember it badly. She was taken care of by the people in labcoats, and she didn’t have to deal with the sorts of mean people she read about. She was under no illusions that her education was normal: english, mathematics, history, spanish: all normal subjects. Not so normal was the shooting practice and magic training. She often had to go to the doctor, although she never knew why and never remembered any of it. One day, she was wandering the facility, when she stumbled across a meeting. Words were mentioned- Mercenary, battle, and several more. She’d never been told about this. She didn’t want this. Fighting to defend yourself or others is one thing, and what she'd been informed she was going to do; fighting for money was another.
The next day, the men in labcoats found a human-sized hole in the ground in Tory’s room.
Tory’s father is a man named Alexander Mycroft, the founder the Atlas Corporation, which is a multi-million dollar corporation that has hands in tech-development, medicine, and most importantly, weapons. Having discovered magic years ago, he and the scientists under him had been looking into the creation of a magic weapon. Eventually they learned that as powerful as magical artifacts can be, they are no substitute for a living mage. One day, Alexander was informed he had a daughter- the mother being a woman he’d had a short affair with- and the mother had died in a car crash, so custody fell to him. This daughter, it was discovered, had immense latent magic power.
Tory Mycroft’s future was decided.
