-Curved Club: A piece of metal with a large sphere of metal embedded in the center of the blade.

Petra is rather short at about 5’6”. She has short black hair and blue eyes. Clothing wise, she wears, going from the bottom to top: Black and white sneakers, black jeans, and a dark green hoodie.

Emily is about 6’0” tall. She has long red hair, with bangs that will sometimes cover her left eye. When not in armor, she wears a red shirt under a white jacket, with a black skirt and white beret.

Metalikinesis [AP]- Petra can control metal in all forms, from copper to steel to as-of-yet-undiscovered metals. She can either move metal with her mind, strengthen it, change it’s composition, or turn parts of her own body to metal.

Force Control [SP]- Emily can affect the speed and other forces of objects that she comes in contact with. This can be used in a multitude of ways. Stop a bullet, send someone flying when they were simply flicked, anything to do with force and speed.

Have you heard the stories of changelings? A human child, stolen away by spirits, is replaced by a child of those spirits. This is the case with these individuals. The baby who would be known as Emily would have had a wonderful life with her doting parents. But she was chosen by the spirits. One night, she was stolen away, and another was in her place.

When the parents awoke, it was another child in the crib, but they didn’t notice, for the baby was simply an infant and they had been charmed by the spirits. This baby was Petra.

As time passed, they both grew up. Emily was human, yes, but growing up among the spirits made her more like them, until she would be indistinguishable from them after the passage of 16 years, barring a mind more open to change. Likewise, the spirit called Petra grew more human in nature, although more stubborn than most, until she too seemed a normal human.

Even among the spirits, there are rivalries. But due to their natures, these rivalries are eternal. A rival group of spirits to the ones who had swapped Emily and Petra got wind of the vulnerable child of the rival clan. Possessing the bodies of humans, they arrived in front of the Dion home, one fateful night.

As her parents tried and failed to hold them off, Petra watched in terror. The spirits wanted to insult their rivals in the worst way conceivable: Killing their child in a mundane way, as if she were a mere human. A bullet was fired.

Emily felt the danger of her double. She had no idea why, but she was drawn to the human world. She met Petra for the first time then, as the latter’s life ebbed away. In the final moments of Petra’s life, Emily offered a deal. A permanent bond, would empower them both and let Petra live.

When the town awoke the next morning, there were 5 adult corpses in the house, and Alicia was nowhere to be seen.

Gender: Male/Asexual - Identifies as male.

Description/Appearance: Derek is slightly built, tending more towards an agile runner's look then a powerfully built athlete. His hair is black and generally short shaven, and he doesn't have much facial hair. He would probably shave it anyway. He typically wears dark colored clothing, and wears a necklace consisting of a few rather strange looking beads on a string. He likes to talk, and generally expells nervousness in the form of light banter before something big happens.

His magical form typically uses a humanoid form, and looks rather like a robot, consisting of bands of gleaming, mysterious metal that is spun through with glowing blue runes in an unknown, archaic language. He has a single, circular eye, and no other facial features. He can change his shape to suit his needs, though this means he splits and breaks much easier. He often comments on humanity's technological backwards-ness.

Derek likes to burn off stress by talking to people, and often gains strange and remarkable insights into people's organic side due to being fused with the other thing.

Background: Derek originally lived in the countryside with his parents, working their farm alongside them and being home-schooled. The pace of teaching was rather rapid, and it was probably more suitable for him then regular schooling. He learned quite a lot this way, his parents also teaching him the functions of various plants and animals, which helped him to understand what made them tick, and how to make them tick better. However, he was a single child and had nobody to talk to. He always wondered about that, and blames that for his lopsided social skills.

Some months after his 13th birthday, he was working the tractor late at night, plowing the field in preparation for the sowing of the fields. It was corn, which was his favorite crop as well. He saw a rather bright light in the sky, brighter then the stars around it. He paid it no mind. When he looked up again, it was slightly brighter. At this point he got out of his tractor and started pondering it in earnest. Was it a threat?

The answer was yes and no. The comet was very small, and crashed into the tractor, knocking it over and rolling it several times. It was a good idea for Derek to get out then. He was knocked over by the blast, and cracked his head on a stone hidden in the soil, knocking himself out for the night. Meanwhile, a blue light was shining from the landing sight of the extraterrestrial object. A strange object hovered over from the crash site, and laid itself beside the boy. Seconds later, it was gone.

Derek woke up a dew days later, from an unexplained coma, and was swamped in questions from his parents. Having not born witness to the more interesting parts, he had no idea what they meat by most of the questions. He lived with his parents for the next few years, until they were satisfied with his level of schooling. He went to a university for a bit, currently exploring the hostile environment that is the city.

Power:

Derek is pretty normal, but has some abilities over others due to contact with the what he calls 'the other'. He is physically more competent than he should be, and has heightened reaction times and greater wit.

The 'other' has the ability to almost immediately, upon sight, to identify almost everything there is to know about it, physically speaking. For example, he can identify in most animals that a strong strike to the head would concuss it, a puncture wound in the heart or brain would almost certainly have extreme consequences, etc. Anything you need to kill it, he can supply, as well as everything you never needed to know about it. He can also shape-shift to some degree, his metal bands having the ability to tighten and make small adjustments. He can also move quite quickly when he wants to, and strikes with unerring accuracy. The metal seems to not be as competent as it looks.

Description/Appearance: Reference Picture
In her human form, other than the excessively baggy sleeves with belts all over them and the sword, Mari doesn't look... too unusual. Her long, black hair is interspersed with several locks that have been dyed a brilliant red, and is held back by a set of matching red ties away from her face. Her magical form isn't too terribly different, though the sleeves are gone, revealing her bare arms, each hand bearing the angelic Glyph of Kushiel upon its back, vein-like tattoos covering her arms spreading up from them to her shoulders.

Background: Kushiel is the Angel of Punishment and Judgement, charged with overseeing the proper functioning of Hell and its border with the living world. She also has a separate duty, though inferior to her main function, and thus carried out by a chosen mortal representative should the need arise. This duty is within the world of humanity alone, to mete out divine punishment to those who blaspheme against heaven. Not the overwhelming force presented by Dumah, or the curses of Asariel, nor the purifying flame of Michael, Kushiel is a sword, wielded like a scalpel to cut through the blasphemous and the sinful. Normally, this function is preformed by a human who is granted limited control over Kushiel's Authorities for the duration of their mission before being released from service, however on occasion a more long-term presence is needed, and so a Homunculus of sorts is created, human in many respects, but with access to not only the Angel's Authorities, but their Glyph as well, placed in a receptacle that can vaguely be referred to as a 'soul', though true expression or even sentience is not truly necessary, so it is lacking in many ways when compared to a human's soul, merely serving as an anchor which the Glyph makes use of to grant use of its power. Mari is one such being. 

Power: Black Flame of Judgement - A black flame similar in composition to Hellfire, used to punish the souls of the wicked. Burns with greater intensity when fighting those posessed of unrepentant sin, and unable to harm those whose hearts are pure.
