I got Spoileddrowned, a copper shield close to when the dwarf would've gone insane. One wonders if the dwarf dreaded the "indoor plumbing" and gave it that name to taunt me.

Not a funny name, but frustrating:
I just got an artifact statue! ...out of rock. Plain rock. He didn't even use light or dark stone!
It is only worth 6600.

My favorites:
Lűktun, Insightdoor, a Oaken barrel,
Shigóskel Thubilnuraludib Torir, Packedmetal the Nasty Blind Syrup of Void, a Copper ring,
and Stalsavot Emenomrist Shasad, Busterstood the Strong Wildness of Music, a Dolomite bracelet.

I've got 2 statues, 2 bracelets, 2 rings, 1 chain, 1 barrel, 1 bed and 1 door.

That's probably where the Noble system came from in the first place - a cold hard calculation to save Dwarven civilization from thermonuclear politician brawls.

Noval Biban, "The Bride of Balls", a Rope reed thong

This is a rope reed thong. All craftsdwarfship is of the highest quality. It is decorated with wolf leather and encircled with bands of Dolomite. It is made from Rope reed cloth. This object menaces with spikes of turtle shell.
On the item is an image of elves and dwarves in rope reed. The elves are speaking with the dwarves.
On the item is an image of a goblin in saguaro. The goblin is making a plaintive gesture.

I don't think I need to explain this one at all.

OK I don't remember it word for word, but if I recall correctly:

The hand of badness, an adventurine left gauntlet

It was something to that effect, like I said I may not be remembering it excactly, but still.  I immediately thought "Wow, Michael Jackson!"

I got an artifact (iron, I think) battle axe called "The Old Ripper".

Also, my latest fort produced an artifact war hammer out of ratman bone called "Helmscarred". I think weapon artifact names are generally just way cooler than other artifacts.

I have a mason who made himself "Winterpainted the mighty focus, a jet bed" and wields it as an axe... so far the dwarf has single handedly killed 2 packs of wolves and 3 herds of deer with it.
I always get all giddly when i think about a dwarf chasing wolves while wielding this enormous bed of rock.   :D

I just had my first metalsmith have a secretive mood and create a bronze bracelet that he named...after himself. See here http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y162/retrograderage/kogan.png

kingthlayer: Wow, neat! I had no idea a dwarf could do that. (Unless it's just a coincidence... but that wouldn't be as cool.)

Stemelzaskol Okab, "The Responsible Crystalline Wheels of Breaking", a cave spider silk cap.

Okay, it's a cave spider silk cap. All craftsdwarfship is of the highest quality. Now, it's already made from cave spider silk, decorated with cave spider silk, studded with bronze, and encircled with bands of green glass.

But it also menaces with spikes of cave spider silk.

So it's a hat, with spikes of the same cloth it's made out of.

It's an artifact JESTER'S CAP. :3

A steel spear named "The Naughtiness of Sprays". For some reason I'm sure this dwarf hadn't had any woman for too long...
