Help, drowning in GCS...

*cough* I think I need help.

Yeah... suggestions on what to do with these little guys? :( I went slightly overboard with the breeding program, and they just KEEP BIRTHING.  Now I'm getting at least 5 new baby GCS'es per season.  Last season I got 10. Darn triplets.

GCS Count: 42

Are they war trainable?

Are they valuable to the caravans?

Do you have a Temple to Armok to sacrifice them in?

And most importantly, how do they taste?

1.  Nope

2.  Yes, but so is my stack of 50 masterwork meals.

3.  All sacrifices get tossed from the top z-level and plummet into the river, where they usually bleed to death.

4. It's a regional specialty, mmkay?

The most frightening term in dwarf fortress: spiderplosion. All the fun of a catsplosion, with more fangs and webs

Is this biome reanimating? I really don't want to know what happens when "absurd numbers of megabeasts" is combined with "reanimating biomes".

Tamed spiders seem to be much more passive than wild ones.  I tried to make them into cavern guards, which was all okay (eating up crundles, trogs), but they didnt really retaliate when a giant bat strolled along and casually pummeled them to death.  Might have something to do with sizes.

Well, you can let their training decay while they're in the cagebomb
