No, if we vote Yes, it means we now have to enforce Anterra's claim and get stuck in some crappy far away war for no reason. We have nothing to going from this. Anterra asked us to interced, and Fentius never said they'd accept our ruling, so I doubt they would nicely give their land. Indeed, the fact that the Fentius claim was hardly discussed was part of the reason I though the morning phase was short.

To be serious, yes, Sheb has it right. I feel that Anterra is trying to use our weight as a stick for their interests and setting the claim in Fentius's favor might earn us their irritation, it will preserve us from any conflict. Besides, Anterra is a junior partner in this alliance, and we need it work towards securing our interests as a state first.

They didn't ask us to intercede, they asked us to be an arbitrator. That explicitly implies that both sides agree to it. Plus, in my opinion, Fentius doesn't import goods, so I have nothing to lose!
