I tend to picture Leonhard as being somewhat larger than light.

Ultimate Psychologist versus Ultimate Thespian. One reads out the lines, the other reads between them. We need to decide how we're going to handle someone who is basically the ultimate actor versus the ultimate psychologist.

Could you add an NPCS section to the second post?  Having an easy to find description of each named NPC would be helpful for determining if any of them could be the culprit of a murder attempt

Granted, the only named NPCs who anyone interacted with were Ellen, who's dead, Monobadger, who obviously isn't going to be a murder culprit and Taran.

Yes.

Speaking of NPCs, will any more of the nameless students at the academy become NPCs naturally, or do our characters have to start talking to them to make them into NPCs and get them involved in the plot?

Some NPCs will be revealed, others will have to be talked to. The important ones who give services like Taran however will reveal themselves regardless of being talked to or not.

Wait a minute- guys, I just had a thought.

Akira is the Ultimate Cosplayer, right? Thus, by definition, he's really good at making himself look like other people, right?

That should probably include other students he sees. Think about the possibilities; Akira could cosplay as another student in order to frame them for the murder.

He should be under suspicion for the rest of this game.
