Attempt to shape shift into a bird that will give me the ability to fly. Preferably the smallest one although if a Roc is the smallest then so be it. I will be a Roc then.

Afterwards say:

"Sorry for the unpleasant sight but I find flight to be most useful in finding our furry friend."

Fly off and look for Viri.

"Is the militia captain doing alright? I think I have a method of healing him. I'll need a shard of glass, a bottle of water, and some chalk to do it, though."

Rev trots away from the militia building, sparing only a single backwards glance to ensure his exit remained unnoticed. It had been a bust as far as information gathering was concerned, but telling tales about Viri's imagined escapades had been quite amusing. Still, Rev had a task to accomplish and a town to explore, so it was time to get back to it.

June had suggested that the local temple might have information on curing magical afflictions, and it seems reasonable that the local authorities might have maps or other resources available to them. Rev searches for buildings that seem to be big and important like the Temple or Town Hall, though his insatiable curiosity is unlikely to pass by the merely interesting.
