"Really, I don't have any combat training whatsoever beyond a small bit of knowledge regarding semi-automatic handguns, and even that isn't much."

"The terminal offered "human" as an acceptable form to purchase, so yeah, it might work. And yes, perhaps the rules have changed. Arc and I finished a hangman round and all I got was a weak health potion. Then again, I choose Low difficulty."

Fallacy turns and sends the mace towards his sparring partner's legs. Immediately after the inevitable parry he raises the mace and curves its movement, targeting his foe's chest.

(IcyTea, any other doors become apparent after the room was beaten?)
((None I had planned. If it's necessary, you can bring down another wall in the same way as when the communist emblem was revealed.))

There must be some kind of obstacle (enemies, puzzles, something people have to do before they can continue) and at least one additional door than the entrance, to allow for new rooms.
(Though that can be revealed later. Anyways, map updated.)

With the over sized golden weapons removed, the red square of wall looks a lot like a pair of double doors.

"Well, if the machine can change people back without much difficulty, it might be worth experimenting with the game some more. Shall we go see about getting you changed back then? Also, someone going to inject Arc?"

Twinwolf quietly picks up the syringe, grabs Arc, and injects him, and then puts him down.

Of course, Twin is neither man nor woman but an unholy eldritch abomination like every other Bay12er. The difference is they hide it better.

Adragis tries out the weight of the golden sledgehammer.
It's a bit oversized to be practical, even if it wasn't so heavy. It feels like about 40lbs (18kgs), probably not as heavy as if it was made of actual gold, but still too heavy to haul around.

He takes a gander at the oversized sickle. Holds it, sees if it handles like a scimitar.

"Yeah, I'd like to be changed back, but it seems all "forms" to purchase require a "price". And I don't know if that's worth it."
"Some people seemed to pay theirs with riddles. Or questions of some kind. There was a math question I think. Or one of us could play the game to win a thingy for you."

It's much bigger than a scimitar, and feels like it weighs at least 25 pounds or so (12kgs), which needless to say is a bit heavy to be practical. The blade is curved to nearly a half-circle, like a regular sized sickle.

"Riddles? You can pay with riddles? That I might succeed at. Might. Likely not without help. Probably not. I don't do very well with riddles."

"I might be able to handle math though."

"I don't even know if a "thingy", as you put it, is winnable in the hangman game, even on higher difficulties, and I'm not sure if the chance to win a return to normal is worth the risk of a harsh transformation."

((Family members get IDs as well, so we can get back on base if we leave and other things that military families would need an id for, or I could get my parents to sign off on me joining and I could have gone to boot camp this summer but I didn't))
