"All things considered, most of us seem to be incredible fighters. If you plucked the average citizen off the street, would he or she be able to do much at all against golems? I think not. Of course, our special abilities count for a bit of it, but it still seems abnormal."

Fallacy tries to determine the general flow of the fight.

Of course, Twin is neither man nor woman but an unholy eldritch abomination like every other Bay12er. The difference is they hide it better.

"Still. Golems. Although I don't know what balsa wood is, I still think what you're managing to do is incredible."

((The statues are hollow, with only a thin covering of the wood, maybe 6 mm at most. And as said, it's balsa wood, a material known for its extremely low density. It's light and quite rigid, but once it snaps, it snaps. Blunt attacks focused on small points absolutely wreck it. The metallic one is completely different customer, though. They all also have a weakness that you've been exploiting unknowingly, despite all the hints.))

((Haha.))

"You might want to focus your efforts on the metal one, however."

"Not much I can do against it. Probably not even with my axe. Not skilled enough for precision, and that thing just ignored me tackling it." HugoLuman isn't exactly small. "Best I can do is stop these others from interfering with those fighting the big guy."

Aoshi deems the situation safe enough for him to enter personally into the fray. He descends into the room and calls his illusion to distract and slash one of the most damaged/ganked pawns from front while he himself impales it from behind.
You do just that. The illusion's slash seems to have little effect, getting stuck in the halberdiers arm. It retaliates, shattering the illusion, but opening itself up for your thrust. While doing so risks getting your sword very, very stuck, you manage to put enough blunt force into the attack to make a jagged hole slightly larger than your sword's blade in its back. The statue shows no signs of slowing down yet, though.

HugoLuman backs away from the king as fast as he can before it has a chance to retaliate. He then tries the same tackle move on one of the remaining pawns.
The greatmaul-wielding one is just standing there, leaving itself open to your tackle. You hear a creaking sound from its waist as you make contact, but it doesn't seem to completely snap off, leaving you hugging a standing statue. Which is preparing to bring hammertime upon you. Uh oh.

Rolep just grunts and grits his teeth as he grabs his sword with both hands, getting into a better position, and pulls down and back to try and lever either the sword out of the shoulder, or the statue onto the ground.
With your better grip, you don't have much trouble pulling your sword free.

Go for whichever surviving statue looks most threatening.
You finish what you started and chop the silvery statue's leg again, exactly where you hit it before. You cleanly cut through, and the leg tilts and clatters down onto the floor. The statue stops moving everything but its arms.

[SAME_TACTICS: YES]
Tiruin takes the opportunity of the statue losing its leg, striking into a previously dented spot on its right arm, successfully puncturing it.

Fallacy tries to determine the general flow of the fight.
It is looking fairly good. The two wooden statues are being engaged with serious 'injuries', and the metallic one probably can't stand much more abuse. Nobody is seriously hurt, either.

Duck under its legs to get behind it, kick it in the back. HugoLuman can kick pretty hard.

((I said "slash", not "thrust". Katanas are made for slashing.))

Aoshi slashes again accross its back, from upper left to lower right, and puts more distance between himself and statues.
