Of course, Twin is neither man nor woman but an unholy eldritch abomination like every other Bay12er. The difference is they hide it better.

HugoLuman and Tiruin, near the door, feel a slight sense of apprehension, but only slight. "Anyone else feel something near this doorway?"

Fallacy walks a bit closer to the door, trying to "feel" it.

Arcvasti followed the large one of Them with the many-smelled coat into the room. There was yet ANOTHER of Them here now. Arcvasti sniffed at the new arrival before examining the new room. The drop down into the place with the statues looked high, but Arcvasti figured they could probably land safely with their current form if they were careful.

Tiruin felt apprehension and made it known to the rest in words, before tilting her head while looking down the ledge in calculation.

"If I'm made into a piece--suppose I'll be not a piece if we win. Do I look...OK for an archer?"

"Um... no, we hadn't tried walking up the rails. Sounds like a good way to get hit by a train though. Um... doesn't look like chess, now that you mention it."
((Which side does the door enter? Or is the whole scene 3 meters below our ledge that we're all overlooking it?))
((Also ^ :3))

"So.. you feel it too? Wait," He checks his watch. "Is this the 'Danger Sense?' Also, how do we get down there? I'm not big on heights... How do we get back up, too?"

Rolep walks in after everyone else.

"Alright...so... These are some massive squares...what, ten feet a side? Jeez...Alright, so...did anyone look for rules or anything on the walls?"

Armach finishes drying and cleaning, to the best of his ability, the armor and dons it. He puts on the helmet but as soon as he sticks his head in it, he immediately sticks it back out. "Ugh, it smells like someone died in it, in fact someone did die in it." He decides to leave the helmet off for a while to let it air out and attaches it to his backpack. He walks up to the group by the open door in the hangman room. "Wha'd you guys find in there."

HugoLuman points into the apparent game room. "Also, that guy messed with the hangman."

((Sorry, had to sleep.))

The doorway is 3 meters above the scene, in the center of the wall behind the balsa statues. The engravings don't have any image obviously presenting rules that you can see. As said, they mostly depict some unknown people and creatures fighting, as well as people sitting by a table and looking at it. On one battle-engraving, you see a flipped table with a black-and-white grid on it.

"Considering that Hangman room, it's more likely that we become statues only if we lose or something than just by entering, I suppose. So far, the rooms have given us a chance to look around before...eh, activating."

"Well, except that rainforest one."

"That's the problem! It's clearly not chess. If it was, we'd have someone who could play a half-decent game for us. But we don't, so that point is moot."

"Is this the 'Danger Sense?' Also, how do we get down there? I'm not big on heights... How do we get back up, too?"
((I think I either missed the note on 'where does the door enter', or its irrelevant to the puzzle-facing, or...you missed my OOC xD))

"I'm big on heights. It's just 9 feet down. All it takes it to learn how to adjust your landing. I have no idea what that sense is, but I think its tied into the idea that we all have wrist-things. Thing is, we're standing on the side of the knights, facing the side of those awesome dragons. That all said, I'll check."

Get down thar. Read them rules! Also inspect smoothness of balsa wood because of aesthetic finery...mmm aesthetics.
