Aoshi retrieves sheath of his katana and retroactively follows the cat and they person who supposedly has Arc's stuff to the doorway to chess room.

"Who is Adragis? I hear you would have something to help me sharpen my katana. Something that belongs to Arc."
"Do I?"
Adragis roots through his backpack, pulling out all Arc's things.
"...nah, I can't see anything there..."
There's a silvery potion. "Yeah, I think Rolep said something about that one."

Of course, Twin is neither man nor woman but an unholy eldritch abomination like every other Bay12er. The difference is they hide it better.

Tiruin smiled as a chance of making a vague novel reference passed by.

"Time to bring in the Knight Ascendant."

As you push the statue onto the final row, a crown seems to grow from its helmet. After the crown has fully grown, the statue seems to turn into some silvery metal, excepting the crown itself, which stays wooden, but including the knight's zweihänder, which now looks very sharp in contrast to the wood it was before. Another ebony statue moves.

"Shouldn't you stick with us and take advantage of the easy XP?"
Kyle shakes his head.
"It's not fair to just mooch off people. And it's fucking boring as well, Come on, haven't you ever played a multiplayer game with leveling mechanics?"

"It's shared xp without a limitation. There are various ways leveling mechanics work here--and mooching is a concept of the past."

Tiruin could hear what everyone else was saying due to both echoes, and that nothing else was sounding off as she moved around on the board. She stopped to admire the crown on the knight and made it her effort to make it obvious--giving it a quick polish with a rag before continuing.

"Thanks."

Aoshi takes the bottle of sharpening, opens it and experimentally pours few drops of magic liquid on tip of his katana.
They sink into the blade. It doesn't produce any visible effect, but if you touched the edge, it'd feel a bit sharper.

"Mooching is for people who are lazy. I don't want to be lazy anymore."
Tiruin pursed her lips as she understood the complexity of the statement. ...And found its current application not belonging in the current situation.

"But nobody is mooching. There's just a lack of proactivity at the moment-" (and posts from various people @_@)
"I suggest you inspire the rest here to finish some of the 'rooms' I've heard about. Explore the area too, but clear the ones we know about."

She pulled up her sleeves and braced her (noodle-like) arms to take on the next moves.
