"Why do we get the worse ones?" McDonald kicks some water towards the skeletons.

Tea stays on the stealthy overwatch, hoping multiple people won't be attacked at once. Not having ability-based aim-assist might also become a problem on any subsequent shots, if it comes to that.

((Does the door back to puzzleroom still exist?))
(Yes. On this side, it looks like a door frame just standing on its own out in the water.)

(Longer post when more actions, cuz gonna be AFK and phone posting for a bit.)

"I wish I knew..." Aoshi takes hasty look back to where puzzle room door is.

Defensive strategy is to not be surrounded, handle one skeleton at time, move a lot, whack shoulders, hips and head and distract/block arm swing motions with the illusion. Slowly back towards the door. Escape the room if situation gets too hairy.

((Going offline now, full battle plan for me:))

After using up his Stealth Shot, Tea fires similar protective shots very sparingly and very carefully, so as to not waste ammo or hit friendlies. Should he himself be attacked in melee, he slings his rifle away and engages the skeletons hand-to-hand one at a time, focusing on breaking the established weakpoints with joint locks. Should he run out of loaded ammo or after hostilities cease, he reloads, but won't fire any more shots. If he is injured or something unexpected happens, he immediately disengages and tries to avoid the fight entirely.

((Edit: alternatively, someone else may take control for the duration of the room, but don't do anything I wouldn't.))

Fallacy opens slightly the door into the next room and tries to get a feel for the situation(via looking in).

The door is already open. It looks like people are fighting humanoid things, some of which look a lot like this or this, some missing heads or looking plainly skeletal.

(If someone's explicitly hanging back from the room IC, it would be good to indicate that.)

Upon seeing Twinwolf's arm turn into a metallic-looking blade, HugoLuman exclaimed "Woah, the fuck!?" But then the undead were upon them.

The three on the island, fighting from (relatively) stable ground, meet the cluster of undead on the shore, striking just before the skeletons leave the encumbrance of the water. HugoLuman chopped the leg off one, sending it to the ground, while Twinwolf, punching with a broad blade, punctures through the sternum and the backbone, bisecting the ribcage vertically and dropping the skeleton instantly. Armach's cleaver sticks in the collarbone of his opponent as he strikes for the shoulder, but the force of the blow knocks it down. However, swinging these blows threw him and HugoLuman off-balance, and as soon as they recovered, the other four skeletal soldiers were upon them.

Over in the water, both the forumites and the skeletons found it difficult to move in the water, but Aoshi found it relatively easy to keep his distance as he backed up towards the door. McDonald and Adragis find it easy to keep their distance too, as the flailing firebenders constantly create bursts of fire in front of themselves. IcyTea's stealth shot passes through one, severing the spine just at the ribcage. The firebender flops over into the water.

"Class ability." Twin says, before going to aid HugoLuman.

Tiruin took easy aim with her bow until her medical know-how kicked in.

"Impact! Aim to unbalance them! The water helps anchor their lower body! Aim for the head or armored chest. The spine is where the most tension goes to! Use your elbows! Gunman, save your ammo--use your stock instead!"

FallacyofUrist, still hanging back grimaced as the melee began.

(Waiting for a few more actions.)

(Looks fine, add it to the doc. Unless you can't, then I will. Got any class ideas yet?)

"I don't think gunshots are going to work on those things... my class isn't suited for this."
"Well you've taken Physics as a class too, right? So apply external force to these and that's all that would suit us too! Thank you in advance! Gunshots are too focused. They won't work well here!"
