Arcvasti, now extricated from the pile of soft-warm they were in from... What was just going on? Arcvasti thought it might have been important. Didn't matter now. BATH mattered now. Arcvasti raised a paw to lick it, then stopped. There was something glow-hard attached to one paw. Something FAMILIAR. Memories came trickling back. Wrestling with a computer. Attempting to obtain cat ears. Arcvasti rotated their ears and flattened them against their skull. Alright, cat ears obtained. Arcvasti squinted, trying to decode the marks on the glow-hard-paw-thing. Slowly, painfully, words came into blurry focus.

Either becoming cat didn't cure their unsee-far-thingness or cat eyes just weren't made for look-shape-seeing of unprey things. Word-look-knowing, which had always been simple, now became difficult. Arcvasti looked up at the two homo-sapien-leg-walkers. Their scents were not familiar, but the one holding Arcvasti's shed-unfur seemed familiar in head-lookness and mouth-noise-sound. Arcvasti attempted to map them to a word-mark, but couldn't remember one. Arcvasti dubbed the one holding the unfur "Keeper". Arcvasti thought that was a good word-mark. Keeper kept things. Like... Arcvasti panicked, meowing and reaching up with their front paws to paw at the pouch-safe-keeping of the leg-sheath-unfur. Keeper needed to keep that safe. Arcvasti KNEW that. The sketch was important. VERY important.
