Motou takes a bite of his ham MRE while sitting at his desk in the classroom.

There is great ambiance in here. I don't know why everyone else goes to the cafeteria.

[SOLDIER First]

"What?"

[MrVoid]

"What?"

"Oh, sorry. Is my accent too thick?" she asks politely.

[SOLDIER First]

"No, it's... actually very unnoticeable." He speaks sincerely.
"I meant I didn't exactly... believe what you said."

[MrVoid]

"Oh?"

[SOLDIER First]

"Well, I mean... I didn't really not believe you, I didn't really...
...Get it? I guess?"

[MrVoid]

"So you are never going to stare at another woman's breasts ever again because of one embarrassing incident?"

[SOLDIER First]

"..........Not noticeably?"

[MrVoid]

"Eh, good enough." she says with a little giggle, "Well I must admit, I'm having a grand time having a conversation with you, Kiyoshi.  Why didn't we do this sooner?"

Mathias suddenly felt something peculiar, something strange, as if someone just brutally tripped up someone else using pure logic.
He gave a snort of amusement. The person he was talking to looked at him strangely.

Ah.. I just felt social ineptness, again. It's a very common occurrence around here, apparently. The student raised his eyebrows and gave him a 'what-are-you-talking-about' look.

Kiyoshi shrugs, once again scratching the back of his head.
There it is again.. she speaks unaccented Japanese, but she can't remember the simple tradition of addressing someone by their surname...
"Because we didn't have a reason to before, I guess..."
