A (very charming) boy wakes up, blinking away the sleep in his eyes. Silently, he looks at the bat-themed alarm clock(he was quite fond of the little creatures) by his bedside. Hm? I'm almost late for school! On the first day.. how laughable. Bolting up, Mathias rushes around his well furnished room, putting on his most common attire. Forgoing eating breakfast, he rushes out the door hastily.

On the way to school, he almost did not realize a black card present in his pants pocket. Slowing down ever so slightly to take a look, Mathias examines the card in detail. Hey.. this might be related to that 'Thanatos' game in the news. Ominous. Deciding making it on class on time more important than investigating (he has to keep up appearance after all), Mathias almost makes it to class on time. For once, his hair was truly messy.
