People with physical personas tend to take regeneration so that their abilities don't waste them. And really, if someone with a physical persona doesn't take regeneration they deserve what they get.

Most tend to be quite human though (Orpheus, Io, Suzuka Gongen and Sukuna Hikona for MCs, Ishtar, Siegfried, most of the angelic Personae for others).

Yes, you can move stats, and yes, you can change description. I'll take your suggestions into account. It's the first fight, so it's more to iron out the system than anything. Buffs/debuffs last 3 turns, not counting the one you cast it on.

Also, writing up turn soon.

I edited it a little bit because I didn't realize my post was the last on that page(at least for my posts per page count anyway), sorry.

So...average of 1.6 enemies affected if I cast it constantly...eh...that's decent, I suppose. I'm guessing eventually there are multi-target versions, with even lower hit rate?

Well, yes, Elf, but I mean Budai is a bit too on-the-nose for a Persona, I feel. See what I mean?

Point taken, even if the likes of Ishtar are basically normal humans with horns and barely-there clothing. :P

The -kaja and -kunda spells always hit. And the multi-target ones have the same hit rate I think.

I believe so. It'd be a bit stupid to miss a debuff to make the enemy dodge less. :P

By multi-target I was referring to ailment moves like Sexy Dance for charm or some others.

I believe they have a 40% hit rate, and the upgraded single target spells have a 60% hit rate, boosted and affected by Sukukaja/unda.

Went ahead and did a drawing of Icarus:

Haven't drawn anything in ages, though, so this isn't exactly my best work.
Doesn't help I took that photo with an iPod.

Ah.

I was at least partially going off the art in the boss battle music and the new game's main character's Persona, Elf. :P I figure some of them will be quite a bit like humans, if only because what they're meant to represent(presumably Xcubi) needs to look human.

Now to figure out how to change Budai's appearance...should I change his name to Hotei since we're in Japan?

Well, the Chinese Directional Beasts and the Four Heavenly Kings had their names changed in Japan, so I suppose there's precedent.

There's that :P But also because Budai is known as Hotei in Japan, and is the First of the Seven Lucky Gods.

Yeah, that's what I meant, the likes of Suzaku are known as Zhu Que in China and so on.

I honestly don't know why physical attacks cost so much in the games. It's part of why i barely ever used them. Same with almighty. It's useful but it actually does less damage elemental attacks, despite costing the same or more, and can't knock anyone down.

Sure. It can't be resisted but it's not like that's a huge perk since you know what to hit with at all times anyway.
