Aye, but they are the rich PCs. And having nice rich parents means their life is most likely basically a world of lollipops and gumdrops. Plus it makes it harder for me to keep Daniel's character from developing until later without ending up with him acting like a jackass.

I haven't 100% hammered out the plot, but it isn't going to stay that way forever.

The main reason the parents are like that: I am crap at writing jerk characters.

There's a reason her career started and is almost entierly done through the internet. The TV and such came a lot later as she gained popularity and branched out.
