"Yes, a fight would be nice. This flight is dreadfully boring." Courne says, while slightly increasing the speed of his pod.

Matilda

Upon picking out the straw, she'd notice there's a number 1 one the end of it, which pits her against that one really muscled guy. He, naturally, starts taunting her.
"So, little girlie. You really think you can beat me, short stuff?"
I never said they weren't lame taunts.

Blake

The straw has a number 3 on the end of it. It, apparently, pits her against that child from earlier, who just grins at her.
"Hey, miss!"
He seems entirely too cheerful, considering.

Courne

As far as you can tell, Raditz hasn't noticed your pod, speed increase or no. Either that or he's ignoring you.

Blake chuckles.

It was always the ones you never suspected that gave you the best fights; the tiny guys, the guys with glasses at the end of the bar, the nicely-dressed gentlemen with the canes and briefcases. They were pretty often the guys you didn't want to mess with- after all, they wouldn't be looking so clean for long if they were easy to fuck with. She'd learned that lesson well enough in years of bar brawls.

This was gonna be a fun fight.
"Heh. Ready for the tournament, hot-shot?"

[SOLDIER First]

Matilda smiles sweetly.
"I hope your skull's any as thick as your muscles, because I'm going to pound you harder than a chef pounds raw steak, you hear?"

Blake

"Well, mom says I am... So I think so. I'm just here to have fun!"
The kid grins, and flashes a V sign with his fingers.
"I'm Kito. What's your name?"

Matilda

"That's just cute, short stuff. You don't want any of this."
He gestures at his ridiculously large muscles.

[SOLDIER First]

"You know, you're right. Tall, thick and stupid isn't my type."

Blake chuckles.
"That's cute. Your mom must have a lot of faith in ya.

Call me Sullivan. Sully for short."
((And yes, I DID name her Blake Sullivan just to give me an excuse to call her Sully.

It was an opportunity I couldn't pass up.))

"Well, she trained me, so I trust her!"
The child, Kito, continues to grin.

Matilda

"Funny. Short, flat and weak isn't my type either."

((In practice, though, she's more like Vi from LoL, what with her techniques involving a lot of punching and beatings. ))
"Where is she, anyway? Must be some good trainer if she thinks her kid can go up against the champs and win."

"I think she's gettin' to the stands. She wants a good seat, even if I don't make it through!"
Yeah, Kito is definitely very enthusiastic about this.

"I... guess? I don't think everybody else has gotten their matches sorted out..."
Indeed, there are still several people in your group alone still trying to find their match. One of them is acting like he can't read the number on his straw.
