Blake steps forward, reading the sheet carefully.
"Any place a woman get plastered around here?"

Matilda shrugs as she walks away.
He's probably right.

"After the tournament? There's going to be all sorts of stalls and whatnot around with beer, snacks, and so on. They should be arriving soon, but as you'll notice, fighting drunk is prohibited. Now, if you wouldn't mind signing...?"

Blake scowls.
"I know all about that. Give me a minute, I want to make sure this contract isn't making me eligible for being dragged to space and fighting some evil alien assholes or something."

"...Why would you think that?"

"Too much movies."

[BlitzDungeoneer]

There's nothing even mentioning aliens at all on the contract, let alone obligating you to fight evil alien assholes.
"Well, there's nothing of the sort here."

Blake then checks the contract for various other clauses that might possibly screw her over.
"Shame. It'd be fun to punch out aliens."

There's nothing like that, really. Mostly it's just stuff removing responsibility from the tournament for possible injuries and such.
"Possibly."

Blake then signs her name underneath.
"Should I just follow that girl in to where everyone else is, then?"

"Mhm. We'll divide you into eight groups once we have all competitors, which shouldn't take long, since we only have 2 more spots left, and then the pre-eliminaries will start."

[IamanElfCollaborator]

"A'ight. Still a shame I can't get a drink around here..."
Blake trudges off behind the other girl.

Matilda continues walking, apparently not noticing she's being followed being followed.

Ateyo would run his palm across his face. "Ugh. At least I can get a fight out of this." (Is my power level the same as before?)

Soon enough, the last 2 spots are filled by some random ridiculously muscly guy, who looks about 7 ft. tall and is wearing only a pair of shorts and sandals, and then some really short guy who looks like a child... Maybe he even is one? The tall thin guy looks surprised at the second one. The 64 people who entered are divided into eight groups, with Matilda being in group A and Blake being in Group E.

Raditz's pod continues to move faster than yours. He's far enough away that speeding up for a little bit might be safe, though.
