So I can be one of the above mentioned characters? If so I reserve a spot while I write it up. If you're only doing that one character that's already been made, then I guess i do nothing.

For this first game, it will be just this character. But at some point there will be multiple characters once I feel confident enough that both my skills as a gm and the game is refined enough to handle it. It could even be the very next game.

Speak to the townsfolk about anything that they could need doing, or anything that could hold treasure.

The only odd jobs to be done, that is the few needed, are odd and you find them rather unfitting for your profession. As for treasure, the consensus from speaking to the local folk is the lands around are potentially teaming with it, and not uncommon for those brave enough to venture outside the town's boarders to stumble upon any. Many are in dungeons, hidden in abandoned camps, on the sides of hills in the ruins of the city and sometimes simply sitting in the open, but beware as there be danger through and through to be had.

I vote to adventure in the ruins. Ruins mean abandoned treasure. I like treasure. Lets go there.

Good choice, but from which part of the ruins will you explore first? There are ruins in east, south and south west.

West is my favorite. I guess I can deal with a little south in my West, I'm not picky. Southwest I'd say.

You make your way to the southwestern ruins. You search the old husks that were once homes and businesses. Between two structures you find a door that appears to head underground. You remember hearing mentioned from the town's folk that it was often those in the midst of the warring would hide in cellars, sewers and and anything beneath the destruction. This often meant taking there belongings with them, poor or rich. What will you do?

Please don't double post, OP. Usually it's not a big deal, but you've been doing it a lot, so I figure you're unaware of the rule.

Sorry I must have over looked it. I will from here cease to do so.

I just looked over the forum guidelines but I failed to find any rule or mention of double posting. Is there another section I am missing where it is regarded?

Why not double post? It doesn't seem like a very big deal, but I may be missing it.

Opening the door you find that this is much larger than a cellar. It seems to go further northward but the there is little light to be had.

Search for a possible light source.

Search for a possible light source.

Inspecting the immediate area both just inside and outside is fruitless until you were just about to give up. A small old torch lay on the ground outside of the door. It blended in with a pile of dry shrubs. It appears the torch at one time was lit but was put out shortly after, perhaps by rain. This consequently gives it just enough of a fuel source to be maybe catch. An inspection of the shrubs also reveals a small piece of magnesium.
