Turn SentI, Duke Flavius Li Halan am pleased to announce another year of peace and prosperity on the Garden Worlds, all industrial construction has been completed on Icon and the capital of Bao is thriving, adding to the production of new starships and royal troops. And next year, legions of architects and engineers will descend upon Rampart transforming that planet into the next Li Halan paradise.
However, there a few small diplomatic matters I must attend to, nothing of an major importance.
Firstly, this is an unfortunate announcement since I promised our Lady Regent free passage of Ministries within the Garden Worlds, this edict will remain as it regards to the Imperial Fleet, h..o..w..e..v..e..r, the Imperial Eye is forever forbidden from operating within Li Halan territories or traversing Li Halan jumpgates indefinitely.
The reason for this is quite interesting, a group of peasants on the Southern Continent of Midian were transporting ore to a local processing facility when they came across an encampment of rather odd fellows. The identified themselves as dung merchants with the Scraver's Guild, so our subjects went along their way repulsed by the foul odor they emanated. They relayed their story to the processing plant foreman who has known the local dung merchants since birth, who informned the peasants that they had all been struck with the Shaprutian Flu and could not have been the same people. This was passed along to the local Baron, who in turn informed the Grand Duke, who relayed this oddity of information to the Director of the Hidden Martyrs, who in turn sent an operative to investigate and this is what they found....

Immediately, all Li Halan warships were launched and placed on high alert and 24 squadrons of newly constructed Li Halan star fighters were redeployed to Midian. Lord Vladimir has one year to remove all Imperial Eye assets from the Garden Worlds or they...will...be...eliminated.
Secondly, this issue is of little importance to the Li Halan, but a flotilla of merchant vessels returned to Midian this year, after evacuating several high ranking officials of the Reeves Guild that have asked for asylum within the Garden Worlds. They reported the massive Al-Malik sacking of Agoras on that world. Ibn Donald not satisfied with the looting of the industrial districts has been in the process of plundering the commercial areas vital to trade. It appears he and Lord Vladimir are not that different after all, especially now that the Decados have arrived in orbit to join in of the carnage and destruction. Cheers to you both!!!
Thirdly, one of the Reeve Bankers that took refuge on Midian, mentioned that he had a Scraver friend, that knew a Smuggler on Delphi that swore that House Hawkwood was near bankruptcy and Lady Lucinda Hawkwood was looking to quietly part with the Windsor Family Jewels for the right price. Of course, I would not tolerate such slander of our dear Hawkwood Cousins, and he was thoroughly flogged in public for spreading such rumors. Nevertheless, I informed my Chamberlain to extend a line of credit of 25,000 firebirds to Lady Lucinda Hawkwood since I did forget to send her a gift during the celebration of Zebulon's birthday last year.
