Turn sent
Cousins, there's a dark shadow creeping upon us, and it bears Li Halan insignia. Behold what my secret police has uncovered on Byzantium Secundus:
Apologies for quality of the photo - the message from my agents had to be scrambled to avoid detection. Yes, these are genetically-engineered assassins in Li Halan employ, no less than 7 batallions, just waiting to strike, smuggled to the capital under the guise of merchant missions.
When al-Malik agreed to open the Criticorum lanes to merchant traffic, we did not expect such a blatant breach of the noble code of conduct.
I call for Li Halan to remove their clandestine strike troops from the Capital and provide sufficient explanations for their behaviour.
Until these troops are removed, or all the houses are satisfied with the explanations, we are closing the Criticorum lanes for Li Halan ships, and will open fire on any vessel bearing their colours daring to run the blockade.
I call for the Hazat, House Hawkwood and House Decados to coordinate their surveillance efforts in the Capital in order to ensure no more assassins lurk about.
Most Noble Al-Malk Cousins and Fellow Lords and Ladies,
Lord Ibn Donald, may I recommend that you execute your head of intelligence immediately for incompetance, because the Li Halan do not have "Six" battalions of Genetically Engineered soldiers on Byzantium Secundus our House has "Sixteen" battalions. Also, they are creations of the Nung Labs on Midian and were transported to Byzantium Secundus via Leaguehiem and Madoc not Critcorum.
The Li Halan always honor their commitments and treaties, so our transports have been removed from Criticorum. While Criticorum is the most direct route to Byzantium Secundus it is not the only route, and should you fire upon any of our ships passing through Madoc we will retaliate on a massive scale.
Also, to the other houses the Li Halan have nothing to hide we encourage all houses to reinforce their positions on Byzantium Secundus especially from a disreputable wine soden noble house such as the Al-Malik that position massive war fleets on the Imperial Capitol's doorstep or two jumps from our new Regent's lightly defended homeworld of Aragon as shown in this Imperial Eye fleet movement report.
