Turn Sent a hour ago.

Cadiz. A barren desert world. It's said previously this planet was intended to become an embassy between Empire and Vau, but something gone wrong and perestroika stopped. Now the abandoned buildings are a home to numerous villains and frauds.

A lone shadow is flying over the ruined cities. This is baron Boris Decados is overwatching his dominion from his plane. Five years ago a war with rebels started with a new force. The death of the emperor raised unrest through Known Worlds. In escape one renegade fraction united its forces with local scavengers and villains. Together their forces were enough to seize the control over the planet, but they met opposition with other hostile fractions and now there is a massive war in the ruins.
Two years ago the situation became the most critical - the Church also joined the conflict. Now this is a total mess! Friendly fire became a common thing and losses increased in several times.

-"Decados Noble Samolet, Cadiz Satellite Network. Unknown contact nine miles north east north."
-"Cadiz Satellite Network, Decados Noble Samolet. Looking for the contact. Negative contact. Heading 30."
-"Decados Noble Samolet, Cadiz Satellite Network. Roger."

The plane turned to the north and continued its flight. Reports of the enemy aircraft have been made a few time ago, but they always appeared to be false. But now it may change...

-"Contact! Contact!"

Boris turned to the window. A huge cloud was quickly approaching from the north. It's not natural entity was obvious - it was made like from a big grechka. Most likely enemy drones. Or not?...

- "Turn back! Quickly turn back! We are returning to the aerodrome!" - shouted Boris. This cloud wasn't neither natural nor enemy drones. It was made from symbiots themselves.

The Hawkwood have purchased more land for resource exploitation in the wastes of Pentateuch that I guess the Eskatonics are just too good for. Well I'm proud to say we Hawkwood will take scraps just fine thank you very much.

Turn 8 Sent to the Hazat

The glorious forces of House Li Halan have secured both Kish and Rampart in the name of our most honorable leader Duke Flavius Li Halan, peace and tranquility now reign upon both of those worlds.  Our Emissary Wei Lan has provided both House Hawkwood and House Al-Malik with updated planetary surveys of Rampart in order for their estates to sell their locally grown produce to the planetary agora unmolested by brigands and rebels.  Pacification protocols have now been enacted upon the Garden World of Icon, the sooner our rebellious subjects understand that idle hands are the tools of the darkness, and that honest toil in the fields is looked upon kindly by the Pancreator they will find true happiness and enlightenment.

Turn 8 sent to Hawkwood.

The capital of Cadiz. Conference hall of Decados house. In the middle of the room was placed a rounded table and the most important figures of the planet were sitting at it. Boris was also present here. The recent news raged him and now he was trying to restrain himself.

- "Minister of supplies. This year we suffered a great losses. Multiple faults resulted in the famine and even have started the plague. Let's looks at the events that lead to that..."

- "Minister of defense. As has been already stated we have lost a multiple farm fiefs at the north and east. This have lead to supplies shortage and now..."

- "Minister of city development. We have reached some progress and reinforced our agriculture economy, and now we expect to..."

This was so boring and useless, that Boris slowly calmed down and started to check recent Decados secret mail. The maps of Symbiot armies movements, war in the Severus jungles, space intelligence reports... The last thing looks interesting, so he decided to check this file right now. Li Halan battlefleet noticed over Vau worlds, Al Malik dreadnoughts were greatly damaged under unknown circumstances, Hawkwood flagship suffered heavy faults and currently in space docks... The file also contained the maps with planned movements of space scouts, but Boris decided to check it after.

The speech of minister of urgent conscription was suddenly interrupted by the crack of open doors. The radioman was standing in the doorway. "Vladimir! Vladimir Decados has sent his elite troops and spacefleet to our system! They just arrived!" and after this shout he dropped shocked and exhausted to the floor.

--------------------------------

Vladimir Decados declares that a new fief was bought at the world De Moley. The proper celebrations have been attended and the gold have been already sent to Battle Brothers.

OOC: Margrave, may i request you to put descriptions of Church sects to the first post? Also, it seems you have deleted the rules concerning the embassies.

I can put the sects up no problem.

As for embassies, there seemed to be an unspoken consensus (I might be wrong) that we weren't going g to abide by them. I will happily replace them if we all want to though.

Turn will be out tonight, when I get back from work.

Yes, the idea was since we all have embassies on Byzantium Secundus then technically our ambassadors there have contact with every other house.  Also, I just assumed your wanting to build an embassy on Icon was just part of some in game character machinations, anyways Welcome to Icon!!!

There isn't any house rule about not voting in the first election, like when we were playing Nova, right?

No, in Nova that was just to keep someone from getting too powerful too soon in the game, but Emperor Wars now gives all houses plenty of resources to counter that problem.  Also, if you have played Emperor Wars with the updated Ministries each now has their own unique strengths.

I've never played Reality nor E.Wars past the first couple turns to get the feel for what's where. Care for a short write-up about ministries?
It's alright if you can't be bothered - I'll learn as I go.

It's alright if you can't be bothered - I'll learn as I go.

Here is a summary,

Imperial Fleet - Of Course, this is the grand prize they have mid-sized fleets at B2, Stigmata (if it is not destroyed by the Symbiots), and Cadiz.  This is combined with an industrial base at Tethys where the Imperial Fleet training facilities are stationed.  The majority of the Imperial Marines are stationed on this planet.

Stigmata Garrison - They have a minimal fleet presence, the Garrison has changed the least but now has some of the most powerful troops non-rebuildable units in the Known Worlds such a Mantifest Light Legions, Scions of Zhal (Brother Battle Psychic Super Soldiers), Stigmata Marines, and Golems (think Terminator these are killing machines the Church strictly forbids them being used against anything but Symbiots).

Imperial Eye - Which is tasked with planetary surveys and hunting through ruins for lost technology.  Now, has a fleet of Stealth Ships scattered throughout the galaxy.  Their own internal security force, and an army of Imperial Eye Operatives scattered throughout the Known Worlds.  They now have additional Imperial Eye bases on Holy Terra, Leaguehiem, Nowwhere, Stigmata, and a presence on the Imperial World of Tethys.
