About the value of meals...
« on: June 14, 2015, 06:42:26 pm »

Does anyone know if Toady's talked about the (currently comically extreme) value of meals decreasing, or meals not being tradeable to caravans in the future?  (After all, one would expect them to just rot on the trip.)

A) Prices in general are slated for reworking.  Large Serrated Discs are also completely ridiculous (although they're supposed to take many more bars to construct in the future...)

B) Tell those problems of rot to the meat, prepared organs, raw fish, and unpasteurized milk the caravans haul TO you.

C) Jiri Petru made an excellent thread on the topic of prepared meals.  You might want to peruse and possibly resurrect it.
