"Keep it down! There's dead people all over the place, and more croaking constantly! Y'ever walk down a city street? BAM, you got a stiff every block at least, buried under the pavement, shut up in an apartment, stabbed in an alley, or stuck in the sewers!"

GM, have you ever watched a series called "Under the Dome"? This reminds me of that show.

Grab a fork or something from the galley. Try to scratch the wall or figure out what it's made of.

"Curiouser and curiouser, hmm."

The galley too is in rear part of the airplane, which is incidentally inaccessible.

"Well, shee-it. The Most Noble Order of Arthurian Monks sure didn't prepare me for no monkeyshines like this."

Search around for any form of exit.

New skill: Search: [5] Specialist.
[Search: 5] Oh right, emergency escape hatches are in front of the plane, on both sides. You find one on left side and open it without a moment of hesitation.

Air on outside is cool, but nowhere as cold as it should be in usual flight heights. It's basically "refreshing cool" and feels a bit humid. There's still no light anywhere, but you do hear ...water? Small sound of flowing water comes from somewhere below.

Ah, what would you give for a flashlight. Maybe someone has one in his assorted pile of office desk crap? Why would anybody carry random office desk crap around? It is an odd thought for sure.

"Oh my god! There's a dead person here!
Scream for help.

Scream as you might, all you get is sarcastic comment about people dying.

Nah, haven't seen it.

Jack looks over his shoulder at the sound of the emergency door opening, "Wait, don't!-oh."

He walks over to stand behind the rather eccentrically dressed man, "Bit dark, ain't it? Wait, wait, just a titch..."

Find my bag. Flashlight, lighter, matches -- anything at all would do, really. If there is something, get it lit and take a look outside.

I was reminded of it because one of the clips in the show's title sequence shows a cow getting cut in half by the titular dome.

Exit the bathroom, and inspect the seats.

You are not in bathroom.

Here's helpful sketch of current situation.

"Uh-huh. I know what I gotta do here!"

Grab one o' them feets that Tina found and throw them out the emergency exit. Listen for impacts. Failing that, any other random, reasonably massive object nobody's likely to miss.

Flashlight? Possibly, but was it on the desk when you wiped all stuff on it into your briefcase? Lighter or matches? Quite likely, you got smokes and those are sadly useless without something to light them. Let's see... [4] Okay, you got a flashlight. It's one of those big Maglites that guards favour. Batteries... are present, but haven't been changed for a while. It should have enough charge for two or three hours.

Using the flashlight you do quick mapping of outside. Result is roughly this: You are in a cave, and the airplane is fused on its walls. Ground is three meters down and looks like right side of asphalt road. On right of the road is a ditch in which very clear water is flowing forwards (or to left, if forward is where airplane is pointing to). Walls are four meters apart and made of very smooth stone, almost industrial level smoothness as light reflects from it. Ceiling is high up, quick estimation says the cave is around 10 meters tall. The tunnels continues further into darkness than your flashlight can illuminate.

From what little light Jack can grant you you find the feets. Or two pairs of feets as it appears. Pulling then out of the wall is... well I suppose you could have enough strength considering you are big macho monk.

Let's try it. [1] Nah, your grip falters in mid pull and you fall backwards hitting your head on seat's armrest. Dang. Let's just take shoes off of them, should be much easier.

You toss the shoe out and try to measure distance it fell. *Thud.* Ok, your ears and eyes agree that ground is indeed three meters down. Note that you see same thing as Jack does.

Head to the cockpit.

Cockpit door is open, but access further in is blocked by a smooth stone wall.

"I... don't know what'n'hell to say about this. Lemme see if we can get down there, eh?"

Turn off the flashlight for now. These deathtraps have inflatable slides for water landings, right? Figure out how to release the one for this door and do so.

"Hey, light, aw jeah," Brother Marcel notes just before the flashlight goes off, at which point he sighs.

If Jack can't find the inflatable slide switch, help him. And if I can't find it, try and dangle out of the plane's entrance and drop the 1.2-1.3 meters that aren't covered by my height safely. If the slide does come out, though, slide down it before anyone else and fail to mask my enjoyment of this activity.
