Joe turns to Sonny "Come on child... no more crying, Marcel will live again, we will find the secret's to bringing him back to life! Probably along with whatever the hell brought us here..."

Joe glances around the area, seemingly observing it in detail for the first time. "Is this a garden or something? Either that or something is allowing this area to be extremely fertile..."

You do find a guy who looks like you could manipulate him easily enough. Making him into leader is a bit harder since he's looking for his wife and children, both who he hasn't seen since The Question was asked, but you manage to spark mild interest into the leading position. Because that way he can order others to find his missing family members.

Get inside, and speak to the man near the guy laying on the ground.

Details, wipeout, details. What you want to talk him about?

And the dead one is the guy back from the snake cave. He have bloody bandages around his throat and mid body. He's laying near stairwell. Judging from blood tracks he visited both floors and died after returning on this one. Plaques next to the stairs say that on upstairs is a bike store and downstairs is shooting range.



Large mountains cave

"Hello pal. *sniff* You miss him too, don't you..."

Tail wagging ensues.

If these were planted, then the planter was drunk or high on drugs because there's no order here. Or maybe that's how it was planned? To make it look like natural forest? Devious bastards...

Maybe I was just born that way." He laughs, seemingly at nothing "Any thoughts on how to get out of here child? My king? He shoves the crystal against his face "Thoughts Wilson? I was thinking we could just walk one direction until we find something, walk all of them if we need to."

"Do you know this man? How did you find him?

"All I know about him that someone had cut his throat and shot him from behind and I treated him best I could. Had he kept calm and waited, I probably could have saved his life with the first aid kid you had, but apparently he chose to run stairs like a madman which made his bullet wound bleed internally even more, worsening his already bad blood loss. When I returned to him, it was already too late to help him."

You have this distinct feeling that people here don't like you very much. Considering the amount of makeshift weapons they are pulling out it might be prudent to run...

Six men wielding various objects-turned-weapons attack you. Looking at their movement you can see they are all rather new for this type of fighting. "Amateurs." you say your voice full of scorn. They come, they swing, and they fall as you dance amongst them breaking arms and noses, kicking them down. It only takes few seconds before they are down. Resting your foot on head of one loser you ponder your future. These losers are so weak that you don't even need to try to puppeteer them from shadows! Such high class techniques are wasted on them! You might as well go all primitive with "rule of the strongest". Look at them, all whining, crying and bleeding on ground, literally groveling under your feet!

Turn left and walk towards the root of the river.

Sonny's new skill: Spot: [2] Dabbling

Joe and Sonny walk through the forest, eating persimmons to sate their hunger whenever it raises its ugly head, passing near herd of bisons who ignore them, and by tall miniature mountain scraping ceiling of the cave. Ground is nice and flat letting you walk on brisk pace through tall grass covering the ground, but it still stakes few hours before you find anything new.

The forest ends and gives way to large open area. In middle of the area lies a city on shore of the river. There's no skyscrapers or any other very tall buildings, but the ones you see are by no means unimpressive. They are made of glass and white stone, and look like they were designed by an artist with sci-fi fetish rather than by an architect. It has very futuristic vibe, physics defying arcs and very beautiful overall look. Some of the people seem to be wearing black oddly shaped helmets, but you can't tell details from this distance.

((Well, it's not like they exist only in Joe's head, right?

And yeah, RNG has been very merciful when it comes to rolling for new skills.))

"King Fitzgerald, are these some of your peasants? Everyone stay behind me, let's slowly approach them..."

First put on my Giant Panda fur attire, then walk up to the people slowly and say:

"Greetings! I present to you King Fitzgerald, The Great King of the Universe, Conqueror of Foes, and Ravisher of female Canines!" he bows to the ground towards the german shepard. "...Wilson, Great Sage of the Nether Realms!" he holds up the glowing crystal in his hands. "...and Sonny, Spymaster of The Great King!" he points to the red haired child at his side.

((This is assuming they don't do something odd before I can finish talking.))
