The Airplane

Open the first aid kit.
Martita tries to keep from vomiting, and turns away from the corpse and opens the first aid-kit.

Your bite wounds, self-inflicted and otherwise, are already swelling.

Hmm, no official antivenin there. They probably didn't expect anyone crrying venomous snakes into the plane.

The City in Dark

"Hiya, doc. I see ya got some o' that fine antivenin here. I was bitten by some rattlesnakes twice, and I could really use a little help. I can repay ya with some stories of the nearby area, the good Lord and the mighty Excalibur."

Receive medical help.

[Professional doctor roll: 5] The doctor professionally administers exactly correct amount of antivenin and treats bite wounds. He also sets your broken ankle with proper cast. It isn't really that much better, but at least you can hobble around a bit faster.

"Take it easy, youngster. Don't over exert yourself yet. Go tell your stories to other people, they are probably more interested."

Sweet Turing, this is not what I wanted...

"H-hello?  A-a-anyone out there?"

Cautiously approach the sides of the farmhouse(?), attempting to look though any windows before entering.  Bring backlit PDA for light.

There isn't any farmhouses, only fields growing... Hmm, let's see what they are growing.

New skill: Botany: [6] Specialist.
Eggplants, corn and something you have never seen before. Small bush growing berries that size of strawberry and silver in color. Tastes like milk. Probably perfectly edible since you aren't vomiting yet.

As you stroll around and stuff those berries into your mouth you find a man sitting in middle of the field.

Name: Nathaniel C. Jameson
Appearance: A tall skinny man, with shifty eyes. He is wearing a ragged old duster coat over a thrift store suit.
What you had with you when the Question was asked: Lots of various knives, several meters of det cord, multiple remote detonators, a loaded pistol with several extra magazines of ammo and a silencer, and a bottle of hospital grade pain killers.
What was your Answer: Why?

"Why?" you ask.
Reason.

As soon as you gave your answer you found yourself sitting in middle of field growing corns, eggplants and some other silver berries. The field is well lit but otherwise the area you are in is dark. With natural exception of singe city block close by. No stars or sky in sight.

Right now a fat man is approaching you, shining his PDA into your eyes.

Cave

Track him down... for the King!

[Search: 3] Hmm, you find his backpack under a big tree but no sight of the kid himself.

Something hits on your back when you turn to check his back and [2] knocks air out of your lungs. In meanwhile the King performs aggressive expansionist politics and delares this area as part of his mighty kingdom.

Glowing tunnel 2

Continue my tree-dropping plan.

[3] You drop on him but fail to hit his head. Instead you kind of splat on his back, which of course is still effective. You hear him gasping for air as you grab your bag and run away.

QUEST COMPLETE: venom cured.

Now, take a look around and see where Joe might have gone. Follow his trail.

"Blasted gremlin from the depths... agh... Wilson.. help me up..

Joe tries to crawl after the child but collapses, his face in the dirt.

Recover, try to examine the effects of Wilson's light off the walls again, tear away any foliage if there is any on the walls.

Eddie spit out his food in surprise.  "O-oh h-h-hello.  Y-you're not hostile, are you?  That's a very nice gun you have!  Please don't shoot me!"

"As for where this is... no one really seems to know.  I think it's some kind of massive cave system in another dimension.  In any case, we don't appear to be on Earth anymore as we know it."

"So, uh, sorry about the bad news.  Don't shoot me.  Please!"

Watch the guy carefully, preparing to somersault out of the way of any bullets.  What areas other than the mine and the city are nearby?

The Airplane

Try to make a somewhat loose tourniquet, for my leg wound.

[First aid: 6] Gloves on, the tourniquet tightly just above the cut, wipe blood with antiseptic wipes, put some gauzes on the wound, tape whole thing tightly and dispose the gloves. Perfect! Bleeding stopped very effectively!

The City in Dark

"You're real credit to your profession, doc. Keep up your good work, and blessings be upon you."

QUEST COMPLETE: venom cured.

You do remember he didn't follow you into the city and instead went into the big light chasm next to the tunnel you all came from. You hobble good way into that direction.

Excuse me sir, where am I?
Put my hand in my pocket and get ready to throw one of my knives.

Ready.

Eddie spit out his food in surprise.  "O-oh h-h-hello.  Y-you're not hostile, are you?  That's a very nice gun you have!  Please don't shoot me!"

The guy has his hand in his pocket, obviously ready to shoot you.

There is a pond or small lake next to the farmland. The city block and farm are the only ones with light, so you have no idea if there's anything else. Of course there are points of light scattered semi randomly far accross the cave, probably just more tunnels. You have to look around.

Engraved cave

"Blasted gremlin from the depths... agh... Wilson.. help me up..

Joe tries to crawl after the child but collapses, his face in the dirt.

Recover, try to examine the effects of Wilson's light off the walls again, tear away any foliage if there is any on the walls.
"I have no hands."

It takes some real effort to get your lungs working again before you give their autonomy back.

You slowly walk to the wall over the grass and paved sections of the ground and take a closer look. The wall is actually quite smooth but is wholly engraved with... text? From ground up to as far as you can see, and in all directions. For most part the text is so twisted that you cannot even begin to comprehed what language or font it might be. And remaining text is plainly insane; random words one after another, over each other, sideways, upside down, curved, various sizes and so on. Wall and engravings seems to continue far beyond Wilson's reach.

"See, my loyal servant, this is what you had to find, the child has served his purpose! Now, to find the clues!"

Glowing tunnel 2

Continue running as fast as I can, back toward where I left my airplane seat.

Leaving the dark cave behind you sprint back to your safe seat. The insane man doesn't seem to follow you anymore, or he's doing it very sneakily.

I'm so sorry about threatening you, it's just kind of shocking to suddenly be in the dark, hehe. But guys like us have to stick together at a time like this, would you please tell me what happened to you.
Take my hand out of my pocket, and try and calm the man down.

"Hey! I've written a few of these... Wilson... Being the great sage of the nether realms, do you know anything about this? It looks like a code.. Maybe encrypted!"

Joe glances around the cave and whispers "But who put it here? Maybe it was the transylvanian mountain lizards! I didn't think they could get me here!!!"

Roll to ask Wilson for some knowledge. Pull away as much of the Moss as possible so we can see the whole thing.

((Wish I had some paper and a pen, will have to improvise.))

"S-sure, I understand.  S-sorry if I seem nervous, it's just been a very long and very strange day.  I was on a train ride to a security conference when all of a sudden the train stopped and the lights went out.  I felt around and found that all the people in the train were dead, reduced to skeletons!"

"Somehow, the train had been transported to a cave filled with poisonous snakes.  We've got to find a way out of here!"

Try to calm down.  ((Is there any need to eat or drink in this game?  Should we get supplies?))
